"Fiona, do you think anyone would still want to believe you? You've been with the company for so long, as the head of the project department how could you not know there was something wrong with this project?"
With all the evidence in front of Andre, I would no longer believe Fiona, and neither could anyone sitting in the conference room.
Fiona had no friends in the company, and her personality made everyone hate her. No one would say a word for her, no one would want to believe her, even if she wasn't at fault for anything!
