Shopping

"It's from today. We will have them daily and you can go back to your room. I am sorry for my behavior towards you for all these last year's," she apologized and I was looking at her like I was seeing some ghost. I kept silent not really understanding what's wrong with aunty today. "Stop looking at me like that. Have it, we have to go out shopping," she started digging into her plate. I decided to follow the queue rather than thinking about that more and more. We both completed our food in silence as I have a habit of not talking about anything while eating. "Avantika, we will leave home in ten minutes. Get ready," she went to her room to get ready. I cleared the table and went to the kitchen to keep the plates there. One maid came and took the plates from me asking why I brought them? I could have called them to clear the table. "It's my duty till today morning," I thought to myself. "Excuse me, young miss. What you said I can't hear you," she said making me realise that I spoke it out without my knowledge. "Oh, it's nothing, never mind," I kept the plates in the sink and washed my hands. I went back to my room and combed my hair. I did a messy side braid and then applied some moisturizer to my skin and face. "Avantika, have you done?" I came out of my room hearing the aunty's voice and there she was standing with her pink colour dress. Apart from her bad nature we have to agree she is a beautiful woman. Even after having teenage kids her body looks so perfect with a curved body, tight boobs, round hips, plumpy lips. She always maintains a perfect diet plan and workout schedule. "Oh, Avantika, it's getting late..what are you doing?" She questioned me while turning to the stairs. She seen me there and smiled, "What are you looking at me like that for?" She questioned me again. "Oh nothing aunty, can we leave?" I questioned her while looking into the direction of her son's room. "What are you looking for?" She started walking out. "Didi, not coming with us?" I quickly followed her. "Oh, this shopping is not for her," she got into the car leaving the door open for me to sit. "Oh," I tightened the seat belt while she started the engine and we got onto the road. We played some music and then we went to a mall. She got out of the car and I also followed it. She took me to one shop which was totally a designer clothing store. We entered the shop and I was mesmerized by the work on the dresses there. I started walking through them and observing the work, the fabric they used, the sequence they did. In this each frock has each story behind it. Maybe they would have done that for a particular reason. "Do select whatever you want," aunty said to me and I started going through everything. I selected one white colour frock with purple colour butterflies. It was looking simple but I fell in love with that dress. "May I know what was the meaning of this dress?" I questioned the shopkeeper. "Yes ma'am, it's simple. Every woman or girl is beautiful like a butterfly. If it was given wings it can fly high, extract all the sweet things, transform everyone into a beautiful garden," the helper answered while making it ready for me so I can check if it's fit for me or not. "Wow, what a beautiful meaning of one beautiful frock," I checked the frock by keeping it on me and checking whether it's suits me or not. "Go and check in the trail room and see whether it fits you or not, why are you looking at it like that," I heard my aunt's voice and I turned back. She smiled looking at me and I too smiled, "Aunt, can I say something?" I questioned her while looking at some more dresses. "Yes, you can," she answered with a smile. "You look gorgeous when you smile," I complimented her and she looked at me with shock. "Why are you looking at me like that aunty?" I questioned her. "This is the first time you gave a compliment to me," she said while looking at me and I just smiled. I selected one more dress which was in baby pink color with a small V cut. On the right side of the dress there were small maroon embroidery flowers and loose net. Left side was sleeveless and I instantly fell in love with its simplicity. I selected one more frock which was in Lavender colour. The top part was of zardosi work with white color beads and Lavender color thread. Bottom part of it was made of lavender-colored silk material and there were big flowers at the end of the frock. It was sleeveless and was also made up of lavender flowers. I took three of them and went to the trail room. I love all the three and they all are looking good on me.. I was in a dilemma about what to select as I didn't know which was the best. I never used this type of dress and I am used to wearing clothes from thrift stores. I checked the price tags and then got the shock of my life. I can't take this much expensive dresses. I came out of the trail room and kept all the dresses back. "What happened? Why are you keeping them back?" Aunty questioned me. "I love them, but I don't want to," I replied. They are expensive and I don't want to take them from aunty. As I know about her. She may kill me after going back. "Wait Avantika, if you don't like any of the dresses here we can go to some other shop. You can get from there but you are saying you love them then why are you saying no?" Aunty took the dresses I selected in her hands and started looking at them. "These all are perfect, Avantika. What to select for you. I am sure you look beautiful in every dress and colour but what to select? I was confused. We will do one thing," she was looking at the three of them with a frown on her face.
