Change in aunty

"Can you bring them tomorrow? I want to see," aunty said and I nodded my head and said,
"I have them right now aunty."
"Oh that's great!!!! Can I have a look?" She questioned me. I nodded my head and took the book outside and gave it to her.
She opened the book and started looking over it. After ten minutes she questioned me,
"Have you learnt anything related to this anywhere?"
"No, from childhood I have had this dream and so I practiced how to draw. These designs are just normal designs which I saw somewhere or a combination of 2 or 3 dresses I have seen in the market," I answered.
"Hmm, when you have this much interest in this, why didn't you join this course and opt for management?" She questioned me. I didn't say anything because I can't say the reason.
"Ok, if you don't want to say leave it. But, let me say you possess a great talent in this, just need a professional touchup. Try to pursue your dream and brush up your skills in future," aunty suggested and I nodded my head.
"Can I give you this book tomorrow?" Aunty questioned and I said ok. Later she got down and I went to university. As usual Abhi was waiting for me and today he dropped me to the class. Everytime he is dropping me to the class and picking me up in lunch and in the evening too. I said to Abhi about the stranger aunty and he smiled hearing that.
"Glad to hear, someone is there to take care of you on the bus now. It will be good if someone in the home is also there to support you," he said and I laughed.

The days were going smoothly. Even at home no one is saying anything, in university no issues and in bus aunty encouraging words and Abhi's support is making me strong and unknowingly a desire to live and to be happy is rising in my heart.
But, the only one I am getting bad vibes is those girls who insulted me. I feel they didn't forget it till now..
In two days it was my 18th birthday. I went home from University as usual.
"Avantika," aunty called me while I was going into the kitchen.
"Yes aunty, two minutes aunty please. I will give you tea," I answered as I know it's her time to savour tea.
"No, not for that, come here once. I need to talk with you," she said and I nodded my head wondering why she wanted to talk with me suddenly. I went to her with slow steps and with trembling legs.
"Yes aunty," I said by lowering my head. I dare not look into her face or eyes. I don't know what will happen if I see directly into her eyes.
"Why are you lowering your head like that? Come and sit here beta," she said with so much affection and love.
"What's wrong with aunt? Why is she asking me to sit? If I sit here she may get Chance to scold me again. No, I don't want to be scolded again.. Last 4 days are the best days in my life after my parents died.
"It's ok aunty. Tell me why you called me? Do you need anything?" I questioned her.
."Oh, I am sorry Avantika for hurting you all these days. But, you know your mother took a promise from me to take care of you and if you are not on the right path her soul will not be in pain so I have to behave like that," she said.
"Oh," I could only say that word.
"First come here, I want to talk with you," she said and when I was still hesitating she did the most shocking thing of my life. She fell onto the ground sitting on knees and folding her hands.
"Aunt, what are you doing? First, get up," I said to her.
"Please, forgive me for my behavior. Then only I will get it," she said.
"Ma'am, what are you doing?" We heard a voice and I turned my head back to see who it was. There was one person with black coat and white dress standing and I understood he was a lawyer.
"Aunt, please don't embarrass me and yourself. Now get up from there," I said and went forward. I touched her shoulder to help her but she tactically fell back and hit her head on the wooden table.
"Miss. Avantika, what are you doing? Is this the way you speak with your elders?" That lawyer questioned me. Before I give any explanation aunty said,
"It's ok lawyer. She is still a kid and she will learn when she grows up," aunty said struggling to sit from the floor. He gave her his hand and supported her.
"Avantika, don't worry about me baby. Go, go and freshen up," aunty said and I nodded my head and headed towards my kitchen searching for my peace and aunty stopped me,
"Avantika, honey, where are you going baby," Aunty called me and I turned back.
"That was the kitchen baby, bedroom is here. Go and freshen.up," she said and Looked at her..
"Take a bath and rest for sometime..you don't need to come down. I will send your snack and juice there," she said this was most unexpected for me. I nodded my head and went to the guest which was on the top floor.
I took a bath and changed into comfortable home clothes. After a few minutes the door was opened and there was a maid who was standing with a happy smile.
"Oh thankq, but who are you?" I questioned her.
"I am a new maid here. I joined only Today afternoon," she replied politely.
"Ok," I replied and then Let her go. What is happening here I am not really understanding. Why is aunty behaving weirdly with me today..she even has me take one of the rooms. She asked me to take a rest. If this change is real I will be happy but am sure something is wrong and she is doing all this on purpose. What could it be? What's in her heart? How shall I find the reason behind this smile?
