Abhi's Wrath and Care

1140 Words
"Still you have guts to speak," she said and took a pen from her bag. She opened the cap and started pinching in my hand like it's some paper. My whole hand was paining and burning like hell. Tears are flowing down from my eyes. "This is the result of slapping me," she said and they pushed me to the ground and left. I looked around and everyone was gathered around and watching like there was some movie going on. I gathered myself and stood up from there. I gathered my things and went away from there. I went inside my class and to my place. Last seat was my place and no one sat around me or with me. I just concentrate on my classes and if I have time I will do some drawings. I love to draw. It's my favorite hobby from my childhood. Soon classes commenced and I was immersed in classes. I felt trouble writing because of the wounds. Thank god I know how to write with my left hand also. I never let anyone learn about this talent of mine. It was already lynch time and I decided to skip lunch because my hand was burning with bruises. It's better if I skip as I can't hide it. I was doing something in my book when I felt some shadow overpowering me. I lifted my head up to see who it was. There Abhi was standing with his folded hands and a serious look on his face. "Wha...what are you doing here?" I questioned him with my stammering voice. "What am I doing?” He questioned me. “Nothing, just completing some work,” I answered, gathering courage. “Without having lunch?” He questioned me. “I…,” I was about to say something but without letting me speak anything he took my books away from me. “What are you doing?” I protested with him. He didn’t answer anything and took my bag with him. He started walking out of the class, but I didn’t take a step either. He stopped and turned back. “Avi, you know it’s better to obey my orders rather than to piss me off,” he warned me. There was no softness in his words like he used to be with me. I didn’t utter a single word and walked out along with him. We went to the canteen and ordered our food. We were sitting calmly when he suddenly took my hand in his hand and twisted it lightly. “Hey, what are you doing?” I questioned him. “Hush,” he hushed me and saw that there were some bruises on my hand and in my palm too. He looked at me with concern in his eyes and questioned me how it happened. At first, I didn’t answer anything, and he glared at me. I know that he is warning me not to hide anything from him. Without having any option left with me I narrated the whole story to him. After listening to it he got angered and I can see his whole face turning red with anger. He stood up in anger, but I stopped him by holding his hand. I shook my head as no and with tears in my eyes. “You don’t want me to do anything to them, right?” He questioned me and I nodded my head. “They hurted you both mentally and physically. Still, you want to let go of them?” He questioned and I again nodded my head. “Stop nodding your head and answer me why you want to let them go? This much goodness is also not good. The one who made a mistake must face the consequences of their mistakes. If you stay like this and let go of everyone who hurted you then they will start playing with your emotions. You don’t need to hurt anyone deliberately but if they touch you and blame you without any reason then you must take a stand for yourself. If you don’t take a stand for yourself then who will take a stand for you? No one, no one will take a stand for you. This world is so cruel they won’t ever dare to touch those who are strong and rebellious, but they always target the ones who are weak and pity. Remember one thing even if you are weak never let anyone see that weakness of you because they will play with it. Always show that you are strong, and no one can touch you at any cost. The weakness must be opened with the people who always know you and understand you. Leave all this and tell me who will protect you and who will take care of you?” He questioned me. “Who else obviously it will be you,” I answered with a smug smile on my face. He looked at me and sighed saying I am helpless. He wants to feed me, but I am opposed to it. Already everyone is talking nonsense about our relationship. If he feeds me then it will add more ghee to the fire. We completed our lunch and he took me to a medical room and treated my wounds. He dropped me back at the class and made sure that I was fine. Some girls came forward to talk with him, but he glared at them and questioned, “Are you all really girls? How can you all have stood up like statues as you all are moving some movie? Can’t you take a stand for your classmate at least as a human? Sometimes I feel animals are far better than us because if it’s necessary they won’t let any other one touches them. They all become together and won’t let any other living being touch them. I pity you all for this. Let me remind you all if any of you have any problem, she will be the one who comes forward to help you without thinking of anything else. Try to learn some manners,” he scolded them. I tried to stop him, but he didn’t listen to me. Then he turned his whole attention to class. Suddenly our professor came and seeing her I heaved a sigh of relief, but what he did was beyond my expectations. “Ma’am, if you don’t mind, I would like to take 5 minutes, please,” he requested. She nodded her head why she won’t agree he is the favorite student of everyone. He has handsomeness, discipline, and one of the shareholder’s (Whom no one has seen till now. We all heard that he joined as a partner because his son got a free seat in this university and as a gift to him, he took that) son.
