As Alexander and David walked through the city streets, they couldn't shake off the feeling that they were being watched. Every now and then, they would catch a glimpse of someone following them, but when they turned around, there was no one there.
David looked around nervously, clutching his bag tightly. "Do you feel that too?" he asked Alexander.
Alexander nodded, his eyes scanning the crowd. "Yeah, I do. It's like someone's following us, but I can't see who it is."
Just then, they heard a loud crash behind them. They turned around to see a group of men chasing after a woman, knocking over trash cans and causing chaos in their wake.
Alexander and David rushed over to help, pushing through the crowd to get to the woman. She was young, with long black hair and a torn dress, and she looked terrified.
The men were getting closer, and the woman was cornered against a wall. Alexander and David stepped in front of her, ready to defend her.
But before they could do anything, something strange happened. The world around them started to blur, and everything went dark.
When they opened their eyes, they found themselves in a completely different place. They were in a large, dimly lit room, surrounded by strange symbols and artifacts they had never seen before.
Alexander and David looked at each other, bewildered. "What just happened?" David asked.
"I don't know," Alexander replied, his eyes scanning the room. "But I have a feeling we're not alone."
Suddenly, they heard footsteps approaching. They tensed, ready to defend themselves, but the figure that emerged from the shadows surprised them.
It was Sofia.
"What are you doing here?" David asked, his voice filled with suspicion.
Sofia smiled, her blue eyes sparkling in the dim light. "I could ask you the same thing," she replied. "But that's a story for another time. Right now, we have more pressing matters to attend to."
She gestured to a door on the other side of the room. "We need to go through there. Trust me."
Alexander and David exchanged a look before following her through the door, unsure of what to expect next.
Little did they know, this was just the beginning of a journey that would lead them down a path they could never have imagined.
