Liam’s POV
I really didn’t want to talk to anyone right now but I knew that it was not possible. We headed straight to the locker room and I was surprised to find out that coach was not there waiting for us as usual.
This was usually when he gave us his postgame talk. I wasn’t complaining, actually, It was one less thing to sit through. I didn’t need to hear about what areas needed improvement or how it was all my fault.
“Hey, man. You good?” Ethan asked, placing a hand in my shoulder.
“Yeah. Just need to take a shower.”
I didn’t wait for him to reply as I stripped away my gear and stepped into the bathroom. The water poured over my head, calming me down a little bit. When I was done, I stepped out to find Coach waiting for me outside.
“Hurry up. It’s time for your press conference,”
