Sienna’s POV
After a series of events concerning this custody case, Nate decided to request for a meetup. He wanted to see me, not even Caleb this time. I was shocked.
“Don’t go,” Gen warned me through the phone. “It’s too dangerous.”
Gen and I had been so busy to actually meet up in person but we had tried our best to catch up when we could. Since I didn’t really have any other friends, I had to fill her in on everything that had happened.
“I get that but I won’t be taking Caleb with me so I won’t have to worry about Nate trying anything funny.”
“But I’m still worried. Please be careful.”
I was flattered by her concern. Especially since she didn’t know that Nate was abusive. I decided to keep that part to myself.
