A Marriage I stepped out of the home I have lived in for thirty years. I wasn’t sure how much longer I would live here. I started to reminisce, the children born and raised in this house, all the birthday parties and celebrations over the years. It was amazing how fast the years went by. I zipped up my coat and headed for the car. I arrived at the park, parked the car, and got out. It was early spring, and the weather was spectacular. It was mid-morning and starting to warm up—what a great day for a hike. I checked my pockets: keys, headphones, cell phone, collapsible cup, a small bottle of red wine, a cigar, and a lighter.
