Chapter 5 The following morning, I found a place to eat across the street from the bank. It was perfect. I sat in a window booth that gave me a clear view of the street to my left and right. I ordered a big breakfast and sat back, waiting for the bank to open. The bank opened at nine o’clock sharp. I ordered another cup of coffee and watched for anyone pulling up to stake out the bank looking for me. Finally, I finished my coffee and did not see any suspicious activity.
