Chapter 2 I went outside and laid back on a chaise lounge on our deck and started thinking about Alex, as a way to push out the terrible events and replace them with a more positive loop of images. I started with the day we first met four years ago. I was a writer of novels and a photographer. I had received a call from an international corporation, “Global Services Inc.” They asked to meet with me on an upcoming project that they wanted me to work on. I have never done any commercial writing, only novels. I was intrigued and agreed to meet with them the following week.
