Worst nightmare

Rhea's POV :

I pull the trigger one last time as I aim it to my last victim and I hear his body fall with a thud. Killing these men was much easier than I thought, they didn't put up a fight at all, I mean it's not like they could fight an invisible enemy, but I expected much more from their tracking skills-they are wolves after all, I guess I overestimated them. one thing that is certain though is that they must've alerted the rest of the pack about the ambush through the mind link and by now I know pack warriors are coming my way.

Without wasting any time, I climb up the tallest tree I can find and blend in behind some leaves on a branch and wait patiently to see how many men were coming. I eagerly wait for the show to start and when I hear growling and the tearing of clothes nearby my heart beats in anticipation. I hear footsteps approaching and within a matter of minutes there are dozens of men surrounding the camp. Most of them are still in human form and some have already shifted.

I see some pack warriors walk over to the now dead bodies and examine them, I can hear one of them cuss out loud when he spots the bullet holes through their hearts and some through the head. As I look down at them and see them agitated, I decide that's enough hiding and I make my grand entrance. I do a backflip and land perfectly right in front of them and everyone instantly gets into a fighting stance.

A tall man with jet black hair steps forward and takes in my appearance and when he can't make anything out of it, he decides to voice it out, "Who are you and who sent you here?", he says in hopes of intimidating me with his aura. I can tell he comes from a higher rank, ' probably an alpha ' - I think to myself- but all that doesn't work on me.

I'm from royal blood and to add onto that I'm the princess, next in line for the throne, so it will take more than just an alpha's command to make me kneel. I decide play time is over and look back to see that the alpha is already fuming, ready to end my life at any given second, ' good now we can play' I smirk inwardly.

I take out my pistols and I shoot two of the guys that were next to him in a blink of an eye, as they fall with a thud I turn to him and give him my answer, "I'm your worst nightmare. "As the fight begins I see two wolves approaching me from the left and some men from the right, I put my pistols to the use and gun down 10 of my victims before I run out of bullets and I pull out silver blades to finish off the job.

When I look around there's about 20 men that are still standing and I run up to the closest one and slit his throat while I stab the other one in his guts, two down, 18 more to go. I continue with the m******e until I'm down to the alpha. He tries to flee but I'm faster as I get to him first and stab him in the heart before he can register what happened.

I waste no time in staying in the camp as I start running towards the main camp and it takes me no longer than 10 minutes to get there. I first scout around for any traps or warriors roaming around, but I see none in sight.
