The Alpha and The Omega

Mikaela’s POV

I woke up early in the morning, and got ready for school. I’m really excited for this. I mean, this is a good chance to make friends, especially girl-friends. Since my house hold if full of men. I finished getting ready and went down stairs and into the kitchen. There I saw my best friend Daniel, he is a tall guy, with fresh white skin, his hair is a medium brown color, and his eyes are a brown pale color. He is dressed very casually, with a jean jacket and some black ripped jeans. “I see you got up early, now that’s a first” I told Dan as I walked past him, to grab an apple from the kitchen table. “I had to get up early, I had the morning patrol” he said as he studies my every move. “Anything, out of the ordinary?” I asked as I put the apple in my mouth and bite a piece off. “Everything is normal” he said and I just hummed at his answer.

After a couple of minutes, a heard a large “UHG” coming our direction. From the corner of my eye I saw my brother dragging himself to the kitchen, and to where me and Dan. “I hate this stupid new law” my brother said with an angry face. I roll my eyes at his whining. “Good morning to you too”. “You ready for school?” Daniel asked my brother who just glared daggers into his body. “Can we not talk about the subject?” I heard Keaton say. “It’s going to be a long ass day with your constant whining” I said as I walked out of the kitchen.

Keaton’s POV

We got to school, and the three of us got our schedule. And from the looks of it, I have class at the other wing of this stupid school. Once I found my classroom, it just happened to be closed, so I went to the bathroom. Once I finished going to the bathroom, I stud in the hallway and started using my phone. Then I heard this voice talking to me. “Hello, Alpha Keaton!” the high-pitched girl greeted. I forced a smile, and just ignored her and head out to my class.

 After some classes, and some desperate she-wolves, I walked to the lunch room. Don’t get me wrong I love s*x, but today I was just not having it. It was like my mind was into something else. But I couldn’t pin point what the “else” was. I arrived at the lunch room, and toke a seat next to Dan, after I had picked my sandwich. I was just about to devour my sandwich when I was brutally interrupted.

“So, how is your day going so far?” Dan asked. Is he for real?

“Normal. Surrounded by she-wolves every corner I turn to” I say as I set the sandwich in the table.

“Sounds like a dream come true” Dan said winking at me. This boy.

“Yeah” I responded and took the sandwich back into my hands, I eagerly look at my food and imagine the flavor. “KEATON” you have got to be kidding me. I heard my sister calling out to me, as she ran into our direction.

“WHAT? WHAT CAN POSSIBLE MORE IMPORTANT THAN FOOD, THAT I HAD TO BE INTERRUPTED TWICE?” I asked, well more or less.

“Don’t take that tone with me” Mika said as she crossed her arms around her chest.  I let out a sigh and sat my sandwich again in the table.

“What’s wrong Mikaela?” I ask her.

“There is a fight going out side the school” she said with a worried face. “COOL! where? I want to see” I hear Dan shout. “Sit your ass down Daniel” I said as I through daggers into his face. “Way to ruin the fun” I hear him whine as he rolled his eyes. I look at Mikaela with a concerned face, as asking her why she was giving me this information. I’m not the damn principal of this school. “I want you to interfere in the fight” she said with a neutral face. She is kidding me, right?

 “Why will I do that Mikaela? Let the pups have fun” I said

“KEATON” Jesus I hate her so much

“What?” I asked.

 “They are betting up a guy” she said.

“Yeah, that’s kind of how a fight works” I said as I chuckled a little.

“But the guy they are betting up is my friend, so you are going to do something” she said. I can’t with her right now.

“You own me for this” I tell her. “Yeah, yeah” she said as she rolled her eyes.

“Let’s just save this friend pf yours” I tell her, with a non-happy face.

Mikaela guide us out of the lunch room and onto the campus grounds. There I saw a guy. Damn was he not hot. He had black as night hair, his green eyes that I could stare for the rest of my life, and he had a scar on his left check that complemented his looks. And I just found the reason why Hunter wouldn’t settle down, from the moment we arrived here. He knew that our mate was in here. And right know our mate is being beaten to death, and that is something that I am not willing to let happen.

I let out a major roar, that made stop the two guys that were betting up my mate. They both looked into my direction and started shacking. The girl that was watching the fight, turned around to face me. She started shaking as well as the other two wolves. She avoids eye contact with me and started to shift nervously right were she was. “What is the matter of this?” I asked with my Alpha voice, something that I only use when I’m angry. And right now, I’m beyond angry. “We were just teaching this Omega some manors” the girl said with a proud tone in her voice. ‘I will rip her apart’ I could hear my wolf saying to me, but I had to hold him back, because I didn’t want a blood bath to happen the first day of school. “You three are a disgrace to the wolf kind” I said to her and the two other wolves, that were still shaking. “I want the three of you out of my sight, and I don’t want any of you near that wolf again” I said as I crossed my arms around my chest. “Did I maid myself clear?” I asked as I raised a brow. “Yes Alpha” the girl said as she bowed and left, but not before whispering something to my mate.

“You shouldn’t have saved me” my mate said with a worried face. ‘Ouch’ Hunter said in my head.

“So that’s the thank you I get, for saving your ass?” I ask as I walked closer to him.

“I had to help you somehow, after all you are my friend” Mikaela spoke up and winked at him.

“Daniel, take Mikaela to her next class, I will stay with the pup and clean up his wounds” I told Dan. He nodded and left with Mikaela. This is going to be interesting.
