Chapter 14 "Didn't I tell you this mall is beautiful?" Rowela greeted me as we arrived at the mall she said was owned by the Baltimoore. "It's just a sad the young model who's their son isn't here in Cebu, he's in Negros Oriental." She added. I laughed, this witch is so updated on Baltimoore, though she already told me she had a crush on the model and she actually has a picture of him in her wallet, for remembrance, she said. "That's right, their mall here in Talisay Cebu is huge, and we've been walking around for a while now. We haven't bought anything yet because we're enjoying eating first, before we buy snacks and soft drinks later for our drinking session." I said. Our classmates also had their own plans to walk around the mall, and we just told them to meet at the fast food near the exit so we can all wait there. They're old enough now, so they know what to do if they get lost, just make sure they can still ride the van for free, the one Ryker's uncle let us use, when it's time to leave. "Here!" I heard Sebastian's voice, and he handed me some french fries. I was just hinting that I was craving fries earlier, but he actually bought them even though I didn't ask. He's different, I'm even more in love with him when he's like this. "Thank you!" I said. We ate the french fries he bought and chatted about anything with our other classmates in the waiting area, still in the mall. Until our other classmates got tired of walking around, so we got ready to go to the next destination. We woke up early this morning, so we left early too, we used three vans, each with its own driver. We ended up at beautiful tourist spots here in Cebu, which were also close to the Sullivaño's resort so the trip wouldn't be too far. "Imagine, if you guys actually went through with your drinking last night, some of you would have been left behind today and wouldn't have been able to join us." Rowela hinted, and most of us nodded. No one was left out, we all enjoyed ourselves. We took pictures and just had fun. This is it, this is what I'll bring home, or what we'll all bring home, the memory of being together at a party like this. Maybe some weren't lucky enough to come or join us, but I pray that next time, they'll experience whatever we experienced today. We all returned to the resort owned by Ryker's uncle in the afternoon, it was almost five o'clock when we arrived. "I thought everyone was tired, but damn, the drinking session is going to continue, and we're going to go swimming again." Janice said, and we all looked at each other and said yes. "You guys can't hide your excitement, can you?" Josefa said. "For sure, I can finally use the bikini I bought." I hinted. That's what made me excited. I don't think Ryker will make me change anymore because he didn't buy me a new rash guard. I don't want to wear the one I used again, because people might think I only went swimming once when they saw the pictures. Besides, it's ugly if I bring home this bikini without even trying it on here in Cebu. I prepared and made it look nice so I'd look good in the pictures, but there's a spoiler. It would have been nice yesterday because we were going to swim in the sea. He's at the gazebo, probably drinking with them now. They were just setting up the table when we left earlier. I'm with my friends, so he shouldn't embarrass me in front of everyone, making me change into the clothes he wants, or I might be annoyed with him for the rest of my life. "Let's go!" Rowela called to me. We went to the gazebo first to get snacks and drinks, then we'll just go swimming in the pool. "Hey yow, sexy booty." Even though we were still far away, the way these other boys whistled was as if they had never seen girls in bikinis before. My eyes caught Sebastian smiling as he watched us. I don't know if he was looking at me or the other girls. Though my heart ached a little knowing those smiles were for someone else. But I was even more scared when I caught the eye of the guy I've been expecting to say something about what I was wearing. Ryker Matt Sullivaño is gaping, as if he saw a fairy, but it's the same with Sebastian, maybe those stares aren't for me. But wait… what does it matter to you, Aubree Lynn? I cleared my throat to get rid of the lump in my throat and went to the table. It's fine, this simple red two-piece is what I'll use. I just covered it with a chiffon scarf because I wasn't going to swim yet. I got four snacks and three soft drinks. "I'm good with this," I said referring to what I was carrying. "Okay, wait!" I waited for Rowela to get something else. I was just focused on her, and didn't turn around to look at the boys and others at the gazebo, because I might make eye contact with that guy and he'll tell me to change. "Aubree Lynn!" See… I haven't even taken a step away yet, and the i***t is already giving me a warning. I turned to him, and… "Bleeh… let's go Rowela… hurry up, or I'll wear a long gown to go swimming…" "Ha? What?" She asked, confused, but she also went with me as we left the gazebo. "Aubree Lynn!" He called out to me again. Because Rowela and I were close to the pool, I turned to Ryker who was calling me. "What?" "Come back here!" "Nah! No way! I know what you're up to!" I shouted. "What? What am I up to?" s**t, I didn't know he was so close to me. I put the things I was carrying on the pool lounge earlier. I shrugged, "Oh, come on, don't act like you don't know, you just want me to wear that rash guard you like." "Ah, so that's what you think?" "Why not?" I asked back when I faced him, but the jerk just flicked my forehead. "What the?" "Let's have dinner first before you eat a lot of snacks, Aubree Lynn Corpez." He whispered.
