      Epilogue   KARA Ronan straightened and brushed off his hands. He was grinning from ear to ear, and I couldn’t help but grin back at him. “That’s the last one.” He stared down at the pile of wood at his feet. Here and there, pieces of barbed wire glinted, poking through the long grass. “Time to start building another bonfire, I reckon.” I wanted to take him to task about the barbed wire—someone was going to slice themselves up if they weren’t careful—but Ronan looked so happy I couldn’t bear to dampen my mood.
