Chapter Fifteen RONAN I had my mind made up. Even though I was walking through town alone, my heart was racing a mile a minute in my chest. I didn’t know what lay ahead of me on the other side of the creek; from the look on Kara’s face the last time I’d seen her, I was guessing there’d be a whole load of pain and rejection. But I had to try. I had to know for sure, if she’d forgive me, or if it was too late. If she never wanted to see me again, she’d have to tell me that to my face.
