Chapter 3. GOING TO THE SUPERMARKET

The unknown man can be seen standing close to a very handsome man who is with a cold and indifferent face.

“ Jorge what has been keeping you, seems like you are tired of your job" Brantley said to his assistant coldly, who instantly became pale hearing his boss words

“ No boss I wouldn't dare, I came across something when I went to the toilet. Boss I have something to ask you if you would permit me" Jorge asked.

Brantley looked at his assistant like he was going to kill him. “ If what you want to ask me is meaningless be prepared to place your resignation letter on my table" Brantley said coldly.

Jorge shivered out of fear for the words and expression of the boss. “ Boss I better not say it but are you sure you don't want to know, even when I has to do with the heir to the Hildalgo's empire" Jorge carefully asked his boss.

Brantley wasn't expecting that from his assistant but commanded him to spill the beans.

Jorge kept on staring at his boss just to be sure he wasn't going to lose his job. Brantley glared at him murderously that made Jorge step back unconsciously.

“ Boss when I went to the toilet, I came across a little boy that look so much like you but I was more surprised when I saw a little girl of the same age and height with the boy. She even called him brother, that shows they are twins. I even took a picture of them" Jorge said while he took out his phone to show the picture of the two children holding each other while talking. Brantley took the phone from his assistant and stared at the pictures.

Brantley could not keep his indifferent expression cause he was so surprised. No doubt the children share the same resemblance with him. But this can also be some coincidence cause he hasn't slept or come in contact with any woman before, so the can't be his children.

Brantley gave the phone back to his assistant without saying a word. “ Boss said nothing about the pictures, or was it just my imagination, I thought I saw boss's shocked" Jorge thought not moving from where he stood

“ I can clearly see that you are tired of your job" Brantley said with a dark face.

Jorge who was day dreaming ran after his boss with his tail between his legs.

Meanwhile Yolanda just got to her condo unit that was prepared by her best friend Shina when she was still in China. The twins were eager to see their room. After arranging their belongings they decided to rest in the living room. Amelia gazed at her mother sitting and talking to her best friend also their god mother Shina, blinked her big and sparkling dark blue eyes and asked in a cute child like voice.

“ Mommy, I'm hungry. When can we eat?"

Yolanda immediately stopped talking, stood up and went to the kitchen while saying “ I will cook for you baby, but we'll have to go to the supermarket for some fresh groceries.

“Shina can you come with us to the supermarket?"

“ Oh that won't be a problem, I will gladly tag along. Anything for my god children!!" Shina exclaimed with happiness.

They all got into the car and drove to the supermarket as planned. Amelia asked her mother to put her in the cart, which she did. Shina also put Ariel in her cart despite his continuous refusal, claiming he's not a baby. The adults pushed the children happily and chatted while they picked up fresh groceries and other necessities.

As they were about to pay for their goods, Yolanda heard a familiar yet unwanted voice calling her from behind her. “ Yolanda, is it really you?"

She spun around to see her ex fiance Denis pushing a cart with Denah next to him. He hasn't changed at all.

Yolanda stared at them with disgust and hostility. When Denis saw the look in her eyes, his heart hurt a reason unknown to him.

“ Yolanda where have you been, I searched everywhere for you but didn't know where you were. I've been wanting to apologise to you, Denis wasn't at fault. It's my fault please don't be mad at him" Denah said pitifully, trying to take the blame for that night.

“ Oh you don't have to pretend dear Denah, you simply wanted him for yourself and you got him so drop the act" Yolanda said coldly before turning around intending to push her cart.

“ Yolanda why are you so shameless, you also cheated on me so why are you talking like we were the only ones wrong. You are a sl*t, you slept with another man but did not even allow me touch you when we were still engaged. A bit*h that's what you are, so don't talk to Denah like you were the victim" Denis said angrily

Ariel sat in the cart listening to the altercation. He was riled up and his young face had puckered up in fury. He held his mother's hand protectively, scrowled fiercely at Denis and Denah and angrily said in his child like voice

“ You are a bad bully. Do not speak to my mommy like that, go away ugly. I bet my daddy is much more good-looking than you"
