Like someone pulled out of water, Sage jolted out of bed, breaking her nightmare. Sweat profusely ran down her body and soaked her sheets. Her body was slightly quivering, and so was her breathing.
‘Cooper.’ She swallowed the thick lumps of saliva. She had heard him in her sleep, and it wasn't like the usual nightmare.
Ariana just remained silent in her void. Even though she completely hated Cooper, Sage's mean family, and his entire pack, Sage had managed to keep herself roped in the past. She was yet to accept the rejection. Deep down, she needed a sort of redemption before the entire pack that she was innocent.
She needed closure.
