Chapter 14: Shopping for the party

I sigh, happy to finally sit after a long day of shopping for this stupid party I created for Bryan and his friend. Nina looks as recked as me, but she isn’t blaming me for making us go running around to gather what we need for next Saturday. “I’m glad we are done,” Nina says, sipping her iced tea. I nod in agreement, dreaming about my bed. I take a bite of my muffin, happy to feel the chocolate in my mouth. We had lunch together already, but I am still hungry for a snack. My friend is scrolling on her phone her social media, and I can hear the sounds of yesterday’s party. I stare blankly at the table, too tired to concentrate on something and eat my muffin in silence. After a while, I take my phone too and see that I have a new message from an unknown number. Unknown: Heyyy, it’s Olivi
