I didn’t think I would be as nervous as I was at this very moment. Theo just disappeared with his dad and it looked like his mother was drifting through the crowd with her sights set on me. Great.
I turned my face into a welcoming smile as she approached me and once again she hugged me.
“Oh hello dear! Welcome to the family!” She said ecstatically as she wrapped her arms around me.
“You sure are beautiful! I’m so glad my Theo found you. Are you doing okay with everything?” She asked with a concerned look.
