I tilted my head to the side, starring deeply into her eyes. My mind was a jumble of many answers that just didn't connect. Many dots that weren't making sense.
She was right though, why was I going for the source? Almost immediately, the answer clicked in my head.
" I don't think you need to know that." I snapped, "Do what you came for." I said
"I will get back to you, Alpha." Her voice was low. "I would need a blood ritual before I can get that answer." She said, "Also, I have less knowledge about this beings and I'd need to dig deeper to give you answer."
" Do that." I straightened my face, placing my hands across the table. "You can leave. I'd await your answer."
