Damon's Pov
He transformed back to is human form almost immediately, he was breathing heavily. Tears slid down the side of his eyes. His whole body turned red.
I held my finger up in the air, and immediately his pain was gone. I knew it was. The heaviness in the air was gone. There was no extra again.
" What are you willing to tell me?" I asked, my voice low.
"I will tell you everything I know on one condition." He said, his voice cracked as hd struggled to catch his breath.
"I'm man of my word."
The enemies were dumb to bring someone like him on this mission. But, they weren't dumb anyway. They only gave me a chance. That chance that I've missed before now.
He rushed to his knees, not daring to look me in the eye. It was as though he was thinking about what he wanted to say.
