“Would you like to stay for a drink?” Hideki asked him after Masamune left. Hiro kept thinking about the steps they agreed to take next in order to properly get to the bottom of those incidents, but there was another thing that kept sneaking into his mind and which he couldn’t properly control. These mysteries about his past he needed to solve kept him busy with what he was going to do, but now, when his mind got some space to think about another thing, it kept creeping into his mind, slowly filling every single corner of it.
“I can’t,” Hiro replied without giving it a second thought. He had already thought about Alyia. Every single thought about her completely dominated his mind. He still wasn’t sure that going to see her now would be a good idea, but all he could think about was her.
