Chapter 30
As time passed, we fell more deeply in love by each day. Our second anniversary was coming up, and Keira mentioned to me that she had a scavenger type thing planned. I was beyond excited.
I woke up ten times throughout the night, waiting for her to wake up and get ready. When morning finally came, I took a quick shower and made my way over to her. I jumped up and down on the bed, waking her up. It took her a second to come to, but when she registered what was going on, she smiled up at me.
“What are you doing, silly?” she said in her sleepy, adorable voice.
“I’m waking you up to let you know that I’m ready,” I replied before falling to my knees on the bed next to her.
“What time is it?” she asked me.
“It’s 6:49 A.M.,” I responded, drawing a laugh out of her.
