Chapter 20
Coming into school, I had spotted Keira’s car and I made my way over to it. I was hoping to get in an early morning make out before class.
I crept up to her window, in hopes to scare her, but I noticed that she was asleep. I quietly opened her driver’s seat door and she jumped awake, startled.
“Ash?” She asked, in a sleepy stupor.
“Hey, sleepyhead,” I cozied into her, kissing her neck. “What are you doing sleeping in your car? You can’t still be tired from the other day,” I wriggled my eyebrows, causing her to chuckle.
“No, just a long night,” she answered quickly. Something was off.
I looked into her backseat and noticed she had a couple of duffel bags on the seat. “What’s up with the bags? Skipping town?” I asked, jokingly.
