17 It had been over a week since Izzy had told everyone about her night with Ruby, and it felt like most people had accepted and moved on, thank Christ on a bike. Most people save Nat. Nat was doing her f*****g best to pretend like Izzy was just part of the flat furniture. “Good morning!” “Hey.” “What’re you up to today?” “School.” Done. Those were their conversations now. Nat avoided Izzy’s room like it was b****y Chernobyl. Was that rude to say, now that she knew Nick?
