Onyx, no I just saw her and bound her hands. She gave them to me voluntarily. Onyx, I need you to relax. You being half c****d is not going to help either one of us.

I set the baked goods down then everything went crazy. Now I am sitting in the back of my mind watching. Opal told me to just stay here. I am not even sure what is happening. I got a weird feeling and called upon my aunts. They told me to give Opal control so I did.

Hatte approached the food table, hands on her hips, obviously upset.

Hey, Hatte I am so glad you made it to the party. I was looking for you earlier.

You were looking for me, she snarled at me. Hatte, are you alright? You just snarled at me. That’s when I felt the first attack. Hatte, smacked me across the face.

What did you do that for?

I just thought we could hang out at the party. What has you so upset?

She turned on her heel, to face me dead on. She looked up at me, and began dressing me down.

I am standing here stunned, what did I do?

Hatte informs me that I need to beg her forgiveness. She tells me to kneel and beg her forgiveness or she will have Crown Prince Amadeo lock me in the dungeons. I guess I waited too long for her liking, because the next thing I know she threw all of the baked goods I brought at me. She then kicked me in the back of my knee.

I have over a foot on her, plus I am one of the best trained warriors in the Domain, but the aunts have taught me that with power comes responsibility.

I was rubbing my knee when she shoved me from the side into a circle of other Rooks. I guess they came around to see what was going on. I didn’t even notice the crowd.

Opal has control, so why are we being pushed and thrown around like a human dodgeball. The guys try to grab ahold of me long enough to cop a feel or try to rip my clothes off. I am so dizzy, being toss grabbed, thrown, groped and kicked.

I hear Hatte, she yells , that’s what you get for insolence towards your future Queen. Just wait you worthless orphan I will make sure you pay dearly for this scene in a month, when I become the Queen. She grabs my face off the ground before whispering to me, make sure the dorm room is always stocked and ready for any visit from the Crown Prince. He was here today and I couldn’t even bring him to the room because of the state you left it in. Never again. Do you understand me, stupid orphan?

I felt the whole ground trembling. Opal is Hatte going this? Does she have some unknown power?

Hush, Diamond, I am concentrating. To answer your question no, it is not her you are feeling. Look to the north, she commanded.

That’s when I saw him the tallest, most gorgeous, muscular, man I have ever seen. He rolled up his shirt sleeves. I could see his tattoos on his forearms, they seemed to grow with each step.

This man is taller than me, it is not often I have to look up to see someone. I was still on the ground from everyone trying to get a piece of me.

Oh no, Opal is he going to hurt us too? I can’t fight him. He is bigger than me. Opal? Opal? Panic attack coming in full force. I put my head down on the ground again and try to reach my aunts. I feel the tears sting my eyes, I keep pleading trying to reach my aunts.

The giant spoke, if you can call it that. It was more of a guttural growl. He stomped his foot again and everyone dropped prostrate on the ground. Who is this man?

I heard the man’s voice that has been in my head more and more lately. I told you my precious you bow to no one, stand up now. Hold your head high.

I still do not know who this voice is, but Opal did as he said. She promptly stood and held our head high.

She stared the giant, right in the eye.

I took a moment to assess our bruises, scratches and bones. No broken bones, our breasts were scratched and bruised.

Oh no that means, I looked down and yep they had torn my shirt off and ripped my bra. My pants were torn, barely cover my underwear. Oh no did they touch.. Opal interrupted my inner dialogue, no Diamond our bottom is fine no one touched our lower half. They will pay dearly, however for damages to our breasts and face. Now, hush child.

Opal stomped her foot right back at him. Great my beast is going to get us killed.

I felt the ancestors before, I saw them. My aunts right behind them. No one came to help me, they all stopped right behind the giant.

The giant roared and everyone ran out of the buildings and laid prostrate on the ground along with those who assaulted me.

Opal returned his growl. The ancestors fell prostrate to her growl. The man who ran out of our dormitory half dressed and stood next to the giant dropped to the ground with Opal’s growl.

It is only, Opal, the aunts, and the giant standing. Opal and the giant both raised their hands in unison to the sky.

The Voice Boomed again, who dare to touch my precious? His demand was met with silence.

Then the sky lit up with lightening like Zeus himself was bringing down his wrath on the Domain. Tsunami sized waves rushed out of the ponds, and rivers all around the campus. Well, I guess we pissed off Poseidon too.

Opal finally spoke. Onyx rein it in now or I will unleash Hades! Onyx! She warned again.

Opal, growled a started to raise her hands higher when the giant knelt before her.

Onyx to you have control of yourself?

The giant whimpered at her. Opal they touched my precious.

The aunts approached us, and tapped the ancestors shoulders on their way.

Ria was the first to speak, just not to me. Ria touched the giant and spoke to him first as he rose to full height, “Amadeo do you know who I am?” She asked the giant.

Opal calls him Onyx and Ria calls Amadeo. Huh, weird.

That’s when I finally felt it, Lavender was hugging me. She apparently dressed me and healed my injuries as well. She and Ruby held me, while Ria & Serenity spoke to the giant.

Opal, raised her face to the sky with arms held high and thanked the gods.

She thanked Father first, then the under gods. All at once the sun was out again and the land dry.

Order was restored with the exception of everyone prostrate on the ground, the giant in front of me and my aunts split up.

Ria spoke again, “Amadeo dear do you know who I am?”

He just stood there in a trance, when we heard a booming voice from the side.

He was another giant, only slightly shorter than the first and a little older.

Giant number two, spoke “I know you sister.”

Giant one and I snapped our necks towards giant two, and said simultaneously, “what did you call her?”

Giant two ignored both of us. This apparently upset giant one as much as it did Opal. We both raised our hands again, giant two raised his and pleaded.

“Please son, ma’am give me a moment to explain, then if you still wish to call upon the gods again I will assist you with summuning them.”

Ria, Serenity, he greeted. “Would one of you kindly explain what has happened here.”

Ria, answered “it appears, dear brother, as though, the future Queen felt slighted by our ward. She chose to shove her into a circle of people who, terrified, assaulted our ward.”

Giant two, turned to giant one. “Is this true son?”

Giant one finally spoke. “I do not know how it started. When I arrived to intervene they were playing human dodgeball, throwing her from person to person to be assaulted. I did hear someone call her the orphan, before I got here. I am not sure who summoned the ancestors, and gods. There was a loud voice that boomed a warning about touching his precious, just before Zeus and Poseidon released their wrath.”

Giant two turned to me and said, “please, accept my sincere apologies, and come see me when your aunts have tended to you; if you wish to have me charge your assailants”

He turned to giant one and said “I do not believe our presence here is necessary any longer, we shall go. Bring this future Queen, Ria spoke of and we will all go together. “

Giant one stated, “I do not have a potential future Queen.” He turned to the man still lying prostrate next to him and said, “ come on Trent, pull yourself together and let’s get a move on.”
