The Visit Of The Knight Of The Turbulent Winds

By the time Abel and Marcus had caught up to Amon, the fight had already started and the leader of the g**g that Amon had fought in the training grounds had suffered a terrible injury. His left shoulder and arm is hanging like a piece of cloth while the man stand there gripping his dislocated and broken arm. “What the heck- how did his left arm ended like that?” Marcus mutter after seeing the man’s state while Abel on the other hand flashed a smile. “What is even more interesting is the fact that he is still standing after taking one of the young master’s kick.” Abel said with an interested tone as Marcus turned to him feeling a little disturbed of his remark.                [What the hell is with that kid? I was getting cocky because of the extraordinary healing that my body has but even with that much healing, if I take too much damage than my body can handle it is still utterly useless. Who the hell is this kid?!] the man thought to himself as his arms look like they are moving on their own and repair itself back to its former state.                Everyone who saw what happened to his arm were shocked and gasping in awe at the scene that they witnessed. “Wow- it has gotten interesting.” Amon muttered when a smile crept on his face, the man flinch after seeing Amon’s expression and proceeded to defend against the incoming attacks.                BAM! BAAAM! WHAAAM! WHAPAK!                He defended against Amon’s attack perfectly but with some consequences, every time he tries to block one of Amon’s attacks, the very limb that he uses to block them gets dislocated so he is forced to enhance his healing ability even more, resulting to burning more energy and mana. Amon threw a punch straight to his face and he tilted his head to evade it  and threw a counter attack with his right arm but before the moment of impact, Amon took his punch head on before he could put force into his punch.                [This bastard- he deliberately took the punch before I can put some force into it-!] his thoughts then got interrupted when he saw Amon’s fist flying to his face. [Oh sh-]  the man took a direct hit to his face that he immediately stumbled and fall to the ground. “Pffft- that freaking hurts!” he groan in pain as blood keep streaming out of his nose. [Fxck! I exhausted my energy to the point that even standing up would be a big problem. To think that I got defeated by a kid a few years younger than me, what an embarrassment.] he thought to himself as his underlings came running towards him but then stopped because Amon is too close to him.                “I surrender. My face feels like burning in pain.” He said as he admitted defeat while looking down on himself but then out of the blue, Amon congratulated and thanked him. “Wow- that was pretty interesting fight Mr.  I like how the way you fight with your brute force and not to mention your enhanced healing ability. With that thing in your hands I think you will be able to become stronger in no time and when you do please fight me again.” Amon said with an enthusiastic expression as he offer his hand, the man flashed a smile and grabbed his hand to stand up.                “There is no way I’m fighting you again but thanks for the compliment though.” He said with a bit of smile. Amon nods his head and walks back to grab the bracers and put them back on. The man and his underlings apologized to Marcus and Amon for their behavior and swore not to do it again next time and walk their separate ways.                Healing!                The man’s face slowly started to heal faster than his enhanced healing can do, he turned back only to see Abel with a smile on his face. “Consider it as thanks for giving the young master a good fight.” Abel said as he followed behind the other two. The man could not say any thanks to Abel for healing his face and also walks away with his underlings. “Now I feel like less of a monster.”                The three then arrived at the residence and went straight to Marcus’ room which they consider their headquarters and talked about things that they need to do in the next few days which later for an hour. “Well, that’s all of it. So do you have any plans after all that?” Marcus ended their meeting and ask for their future plans and then Amon responded with a simple answer to his question. “Uncle Mark told me to enroll at the academy once I reach the appropriate age which is in the next two years.” Marcus stare blankly at Amon and then turned to Abel and saw him nod his head.                “Yup, that’s what he said. We talked about it while we are on our way here.” Abel confirmed what Amon said. “Wait what? You are stronger than most of the students in you enroll, why would you even consider doing that?” Marcus is still confused as to why Amon would still enroll at the academy when he is already that strong, not even considering the fact that the money they made would be enough for them to set in life. “He said I need to learn how common sense work in this land.”                [Oh! So that’s how it is- I nearly forgot that fact.] Marcus nodded his head as he agreed and flashed a smile. “Well, if you want to enroll at the academy then I might as well enroll back. I used to be a second year there but seeing that I do not have the ability to compete with the other three families I decided to drop out.” Marcus said as he sat down, it was then that he realized that he said something unnecessary and then turned to Amon only to see his excited expression.                “Ah shoot! I forgot the fact that you are a battle crazed kid. Before you do anything rush,  don’t think of them as your usual thugs that we have encountered. They are leagues way above them in combat not to mention their ability to use magic efficiently.” He added in hopes that Amon would reconsider doing what he initially plans to do. “If big brother says so then I would refrain from doing anything rash.” Marcus let out a sigh after hearing Amon’s response but he still felt a little uncomfortable.                The three finished discussing everything, Abel decided to take a nap while Marcus said that he wants to do some calculations and Amon thought that he need a walk so he went out and walk around the residence.                Marcus took a candle and lit it up after setting it on the table. “It’s been two years huh? If I were any stronger I would have been able to save you back then.” Marcus muttered those words as he takes out a photo of a female friend, Abel hears this and pretended to sleep. [That is not something that I should pry on but whatever it is, it must be something tragic since he is emitting such a terribly sad aura.]  he thought to himself.                Amon was walking in the garden when he saw a lady walking towards the gates, curious of who it was after seeing that the guards of the gate let her in without any question. Amon walk to have a closer look and saw a woman in the same age as his mother, the woman saw him and flashed a smile. “What is your name young man? I have not seen you around here before.” The woman said as she walk towards Amon but then the smile on her face disappeared as he eyes widen and proceeded to attack Amon.                Amon was surprised of her attack that he immediately drops all of his bracers only to dodge the attack and suffered minor injuries.                CLANK! CLANK! CLANK! CLANK! FWOOOSH!                [That was fast- was it the wind?] Amon thought to himself as he puts a distance between them and wipes the blood off his face. “What is a demon doing here in Mark’s residence?” she asked with a furious expression as she takes off her cloak. “To be able to dodge that attack when it was invisible is quite skillful of you.”                CLANK!                She accidentally bumped on the bracers that Amon left on the ground. [Bracers?] she tried to move one of them with her feet but was surprised of how heavy a single one was. [To think that he is wearing something that heavy- no wonder he can dodge my attack that most adults have difficulty doing so. This kid is interesting but he is still a demon.] she thought to herself and a bow suddenly appeared on her hand.                [Dimensional ring.] Amon thought to himself after seeing the bow and immediately dodge after sensing that an arrow is already on it’s way to his throat.                SHING!                “Look at you- even evading my invisible arrows. Are you even a kid?” she asked with a smile on her face. “This is dangerous- if I want to even save my life then I should at least use a weapon as well.” Amon muttered as he opened his ring of the void, the woman’s eyes widen after seeing something like that for the first time. A dark and purple distortion of space opened beside Amon’s hand where he grabs a sword. [What the hell is that thing? That is something that a dimensional ring can do, it even emits a terribly ominous aura.] she looks around and saw that she was the only one feeling the ominous aura as the guards were running towards their direction to see the problem.                [This is bad, if this demon sees them, they might die. I need to finished this quickly!]                “Multiple enchanted arrows.” The woman fired multiple number of invisible arrows that Amon immediately sensed and defended with his father’s secret art. “Immortal bodies defensive stance,  Equilibrium barrier.” Amon’s body turned invincible and whirled his sword in a circular formation, making all the arrows bounce off like sticks to a stone. The women then recognized the secret art and then switched to her sword in anger.                 CHING!                “Where did you learn that secret art! That is not something a filthy creature like you should learn!” she cried as Amon blocks her attacks perfectly but then her eyes widened after seeing Amon flash a smile which made her even angry. She produced blade made of wind on her other arm and swing it towards Amon who immediately dispersed the wind with a wall of raging flames that only made the flames dance. Distracted of what happened, Amon saw the opportunity and took it but the women knew what he is about to do and blocked Amon’s sword, what she doesn’t know is that Amon’s fist is already making it’s way through her stomach.                BAM!                The women roll on the ground and immediately stood up unscathed. Amon glance at his hands and saw that he was the only one injured. “Wow- I did not know a knight would be that strong, basing on the element that you use, you must be the Knight of the Turbulent winds, Razel Rojan.” Amon muttered but then the woman attacked Amon again but this time a huge wall of flame separates them both, Mark Saber appeared to stop the fight.                “That’s enough Razel, you are making quite fuss in my residence. Don’t you feel a little embarrassed on fighting against a kid?” he said as he  forcefully puts down her weapon. “What are you doing? That kid is a demon- he is not human at all.” She tried to argue but then was silenced by Mark’s remark. “That kid that you are referring to is the only son of Luke, it would be troublesome for me if you were to harm him in my residence since I promised him to protect Amon.” Razel was shocked of the reason why Mark was protecting Amon but then all of the sudden a huge surge of energy surrounded Razel and in that instant, Abel was already beside them with a partially transformed face.                “How dare you lay your hands on the young master.” He muttered with a cold tone as the energy around her is about to explode but before it would turn into a mess, Amon stopped Abel. “Stop it Abel, that is something that you should not do.” Abel immediately retrieved his attack and walk towards Amon to heal his wounds.                “Ah! I almost felt like my heart is about to explode. Please stop doing that, I just arrived a minute ago, give me a break!” Mark said as he let out a sigh of relief but Razel beside him could still not believe what happened.               [That was an enormous amount of magic, if he were to release that, all of the residence would be ruins. Demons really are powerful.] she thought to herself and then turned to Amon whose wounds have instantly healed.                Marcus and Kassandra noticed the fuss and were running towards them in worry. “Freaking Abel, tell me next time if you are going to surprise me like that! Did you know I almost died in shock?!” Marcus yelled after Abel left his room floating the in the air like a ghost. Marcus saw Razel who is standing beside his father and bow his head. “I was expecting you Razel but I was not expecting you to make a mess.” Kassandra said after taking a look at the mess that she made. “I’m sorry about that Kassandra, I might have destroyed a part of your garden.” Razel apologized for the mess that she made and Kassandra immediately forgave her. “That’s nothing, what’s important is that none of you are badly injured but more importantly, Mark. I think you need to tell me something, I trust that you know what I mean by that.” Kassandra’s voice shifted immediately as her eyes focused on Mark who is a little terrified of his wife’s calm demeanor.                [I don’t really like this feeling that I am having. Calm before the storm- I hope this is not what’s going to happen.] Mark thought to himself as he obediently walk towards his wife like a wet puppy. Amon walk towards Razel and apologized for Abel’s behavior. “I’m really sorry for Abel’s behavior earlier, he was just ordered to do something and protecting me maybe one of them.” Amon apologize as he bows his head but Abel refused to do the same thing.                Razel bows her head asking for forgiveness about attacking Amon first without even asking any questions and Amon forgives her but Abel is still cautious of her and even refuse to apologize for his behavior earlier. “I refuse, young master. Even if you insist on apologizing I will not do such a thing.  For a well renowned knight to be raising her hands on a mere kid like you, she should be embarrassed of herself.” Abel said as he walks away.                Amon saw that there is no chance that Abel will be apologizing so he apologize in his stead and excused himself to catch up to Abel. Mark fetched Razel who is still staring at Amon’s back. “I can’t believe that  he is Luke’s son. I thought he was dead.” She muttered. “I know right? I could not believe it myself when I met that kid. Knowing Luke’s personality that kid should be a pacifist like him but it turned out differently, that kid likes fighting more than anything.” Mark said as he tells her to come in.                [So that’s what is with his smile earlier.] she thought as Mark enlightened one of the things that she thought was wrong earlier. “Did Luke taught him everything? The secret art he used earlier is exactly like Luke’ but his fighting style is different. That kid is perceptive, he even saw through my enchanted arrows instantly even thought he is seeing it f or the first time.” Mark’s eyes widened after hearing some part of their fight earlier that he almost froze on the spot.                “What? He used a secret art? No way- Luke’s secret arts are quite hard to grasp since it includes balance of power and strength, it is even more difficult if you are partially demon.  And he even saw through your enchanted arrows? This is outrageous- Luke made the ultimate weapon. Inheriting his Immortal Bodies, a defensive type secret art paired with the demon’s ability to harness mana efficiantly with ease. I can’t even think of the possibilities that kid can do.” Mark said as he scratch his head.                “How am I going to enroll that kid if he is already that strong. He would be only bullying the weak there.” He added which surprised Razel. “What? Enrolling him to the academy? Isn’t that basically suicide? The instructors there can easily sense a demon and not to mention the other kids of those two- they are quite peculiar in some ways and what’s worse is that I heard that in the next two years, the royal princess and prince will be attending the academy.” Razel told Mark who is also aware of the fact.                “That kid doesn’t know the common sense of this world. That is the sole reason why Luke is sending him to the academy, I am partially responsible for that decision so I have already made some preparations. I asked someone to make an exclusive artifact that would suppress their presence. That way, it will be difficult for others to recognize their presence.” Mark said as they walk towards the diner room.                After eating with everyone, Mark and Razel discussed the things that they were talking about earlier while Marcus, Amon, and Abel went back to Marcus’ room while the adults talk about important matters.                “Wow- I can’t believe you sparred against aunt Razel. That is quite an opportunity. So how did it go?” Marcus asked with an interested expression while Amon looks at the fist that he used to punch Razel’s stomach with but was injured instead. “I think I still have a long way to go. Fighting against one of the four knights is quite feat but if uncle Mark did not intervened, I think I might have been defeated.” Amon said with a straight face, which was not the thing that Marcus was expecting.                “What is her business here anyway?” Abel raised the question that made Marcus’ expression change. “She comes here exactly this time of the year for a visit. Her daughter used to come here with her but not anymore.” Marcus told them. “Then where is she now? It would be good if we were to have another friend.” Amon said without realizing that Marcus look a little sad.                “She died two years ago. She- she was the reason why I stopped going to the academy.” Marcus said with such a sad tone that made Amon conscious of what he just said. “I’m sorry big brother. I didn’t know about it.” Marcus said that he fine to ease the guilt that Amon is feeling. “Its fine, its not like you knew about it right? There is no need for you to be guilty at all.” Marcus said with a calm tone as he grit his teeth.                “I’m sure aunt Razel misses her daughter as well. I sure hope I can turn back time to help her ease the pain. I really miss Raya as well, if only I am strong enough, she should have died.” Blaming the fault of his friend’s death on himself, Abel and Amon did their best to cheer him up even thought their efforts are close to being wasted, they did not let it stop them.                [So he is still carrying the guilt of Raya’s death. As I figured, 2 years is not enough for Marcus to forget the incident.] Razel thought to herself as she listened to their conversation from the other side of the door.
