We Meet Again

Suck on wormed bowels Fuck every wound like a sticky juicy cunt Get down to swallow the offals of my gangrenous dick Epicardiectomy Waking up with the woods surrounding me, I don't take long to realise I'm back to where I heard Jake talking to his parents, only my eyes catch a pair of shining ones staring back at me.  Clinging on to a nearby tree, I close my eyes and hear the same words Jake used the night he described our relationship and how he wanted out, only a snap from a nearby twig has my attention and find the glowing pools are no longer there.  Looking for the glowing crimson eyes when I hear something closing in on me, I'm joined by a figure though I can't see his face for the dream won't let me. Cursing myself for not being able to observe s**t, I try and talk yet nothing forms in my mind, only I'm finally put out of my misery when the figure talks. Luke, what the f**k is he doing in my dream? At least I'm able to get a look at him and confirming that he's in the outfit I last saw him in, though it's covered in blood, along with it smearing his face and now marking it on mine. With my hands in his hair and wondering why I'm kissing this guy, especially with blood on his face, I watch him take off without another word as to where or what he's doing. I try and grab for him but that's when I'm hit from behind.                                                                                                    *  Jolting awake in bed, I find Lucy passed out with her phone on her nightstand displaying two minutes past four in the morning. The dreams of course don't leave me and accompany me all the way up until I find I can no longer sleep and in need of something to do.  Throwing on some warm clothing as well as a weapon for if I'm attacked, I also bring my half-wiped phone and stuff it into my bra before chucking on my beanie and sneaking out the cabin, the wooden door creaking a little as it closes and halting me to listen out for movement on the inside.  Inhaling the crisp morning air, I start my walk around the cabins then head into the wooded area behind the place that states it is out of bounds until the snow is back to a reasonable level, due to the trails through the woods being snowed out.  So making up a walking trail of my own, I start to realise that I could be heading back into the same place I was attacked, only I push past the eerie feeling when the dream comes surfacing again and I'm all of a sudden walking faster. Another halfway down my self-made trail, I automatically think the person supposedly following me is possibly all in my head. Why would someone be stalking me at this time of the morning? Ignoring the thoughts when I find a small bench covered in snow, my eyes spot a few comfortable looking sticks to make a big enough seat to sit on instead of directly on the snow, then lay my thick jacket across the sticks and park my ass down.  Thanking my past self for thinking ahead with the extra coat I wore underneath, I find the cold manageable before lighting up a cigarette I stole from Mum's bag as well as the few I managed to grab off Jake, and then my mind halts at the name.  "He was an asshole anyway." I mutter to myself, my music quiet as one headphone is left in so I am able to listen in to the sounds around me.  Silencing the music considering mornings around these parts in Australia are different from the ones I'm used to hearing back at home, I tune in to the wildlife that also seems to be wide awake at these times and think that if Jake didn't ruin this area for me, I would have actually liked to live here.  Snapping of twigs far from behind me has my body swivelling around on the makeshift cushion and turning my phone's torch on, only to come out empty handed and almost laugh at myself. Shaking it off, I enjoy the rest of my cigarette to hear later on what sound like definite footsteps approaching me, my hand on the small knife in my hoodie pocket as I'm met with a flashlight to the eyeballs. "What are you doing out here?" the voice orders, though the voice is a little familiar yet I can't think with the adrenaline and fear of being attacked again, pumping through my veins.  "I-ah-" "Emily calm down, it's only me Luke." then there's a laugh followed by more footfalls.  "It's good to see you're not getting yourself lost aga-"  "What are you doing here Luke?" I demand while backing up from his friendly face.  "Well if you actually look at me, I'm working out here with a few other members in getting this place cleared up, see." he explains while he points his torch at himself and showing what looks like a park ranger uniform.  "I'm sorry, it's just been a rough night." I confess with flushed cheeks as I make my way back to my makeshift pillow and sit down.  "I get it, but can I suggest you put another jacket on soon, you may feel hot but up in these parts, you can't afford to take layers off when the temperatures only drop more." he suggests when he observes the coats underneath my butt, my cheeks once again heating up while I jump off before throwing them back on.  "Thanks, well I guess I better head off anyway considering it is almost five." I add when we begin walking in the direction I came from. "That's alright, I'm sorry if I am the cause of you going home, I'll just notify the others that you're he-" "Don't worry about it, I have to go back to bed and try and get some sleep, I'm meant to be doing other fun activities with the family." I sigh, him laughing which causes a grin of my own slipping across my fake, sad face.  "All I can say is enjoy and I hope things are okay with you." "What do you mean?"  "Well I heard you and your sister talk about what happened to you and her when you knocked the phone out of Jake's hand."  Silence. "Look, it isn't my place. I was just stating it because you guys were being loud and it does echo around those mountain walkways."  "I'm sorry you had to hear that."  We both stop in our tracks, his face beckoning mine to look back at him with the gaze he now has on me, my eyes finally meeting his before he now has my full attention, the way his hand is in mine sending a weird feeling through me in a manner that Jake never achieved with me.  "I'm not sorry considering if I ever saw him, I would honestly punch him myself." he declares, only a small smile forms across his lips. "I knew you would like that, but as I said, it isn't my plac-" "Then you will also love to hear what else he did." I intervene and for some reason I'm actually laughing about it, instead of almost breaking every time his name would pass my lips or thoughts.  He looks behind him to where I assume his workmates are then at me again with a questioning look, but one of intrigued curiosity also. "Care for a walk?" I smile, my hand now out towards him and inviting him further.                                                                                               *  "And you want me not to kill him because?" he questions for the millionth time as we make it back to my cabin, our voices hushed when a giggle escapes past my lips.  "Because, I like talking to you and find that I can call you now a friend." I declare, ignoring the blush heating my cheeks and thanking the darkness for covering my face. "Well that is true." he mumbles before feeling him step closer, the tips of my gloved fingers pressing against his thick coat where I assume his stomach is.  "Thanks again for walking back with me; I assume that you need to get back to work." I almost breathe out the last part when he closes in a little more, my mental hand face palming my face so hard it actually falls off.   How f*****g gay can I get?  "Oh yeah, sorry I got lost in the conversation." he chuckles as he steps back, though my hand reaches out to grab a hold of him and give him a hug. It has him a little stiff under my touch which makes me assume I have over stepped my boundaries, only he relaxes seconds later and returns it even tighter, then stating something along the lines of we will hang out soon before I go back.  "Awesome, well did you want my number then?" I ask and fish for my phone, him pausing a moment before I'm now looking at him to see what the problem is.  "What about Jake, don't you still want to try and fix things with him?" "Really, you want to kill him yet you want me to see if I still have feelings for him?" "Fair point, I just thought-"  "What he did to me can't be changed, it still hurts what he did but I now have to get over it considering he was cheating on me for God knows how long. That and time will help with the mental s**t he has given me." "Alright, well here is my number then to avoid hopefully some of that mental shit."  I'm now laughing while finding my phone, my finger pressing the home button so I'm able to unlock it, yet the thing won't turn on which means there's something wrong with it. How you ask, because I still have well had a full battery.  "Let me have a look." he offers and stretches out his hand, only to inform me seconds later that if it was fully charged when I left and still had heaps of battery on it when we left, then he thinks water has gotten to it. "Well f**k, I made sure it stayed out of the snow-"  "Look, here's my number." he chuckles while taking the glove off of my hand, and writing out his digits across the pale skin of my hand in a thick marker.  "I'm sure your sister wouldn't mind you borrowing her phone for a call." he grins, my blush coming back as well as the sun rising up, so there's no chance of me hiding this blush before he is now off and heading back into the woods.  Closing the door with a smile not even Jake could wipe off, I work on saving up for a new phone when I start work again next week after I come back from my holiday. As for the photos and other s**t I wanted to remember, that's always backed up to my sister's phone due to iCloud at home. So the ones I have of Jake and I can surely be deleted once again, considering maybe time with Luke might distract myself from dwelling over the fucker cheating on me, and leaving me in the middle of the night.  Making it to my room in one peace, I strip off my clothes as well as decide to have a shower. So grabbing a shirt to suffice as a nightie, I head to the bathroom and gently closing the door while turning on the light.  Jumping in the hot water that quickly fogs up the room, I lose track of time when my mind replays my encounter with Luke and how after the walk I actually wanted to invite him in.  Maybe some other time due to his work calling for his assistance early this morning, that and I'm not thinking about my girl d**k.  Exiting the shower while remembering Lucy has to have one as well, I get changed into my overly large band shirt before throwing on some clean underwear and heading into bed. Though I'm too awake to sleep, so I end up busying myself with one of the books the cabin has to offer. It's sort of interesting, a little heated in the romantic compartment, and for sure something I might take home. All I know is the owners wouldn't have put the book in here, so it leaves the mystery of who might have. Anyway it is a pretty good book regardless of how many s*x scenes and whatnot it has in it, though I end up putting it down after a while when my eyes start to droop.
