"Hello!! Hello!!!! Anyone?" I yelled and the only response I got were my echoes from the background. Where was I? I kept asking myself and since I got nothing, I sat down in my corner for sometime. I stayed seated.for what seemed like seconds and a bright light shone coming towards my direction. I stood up immediately in fright and wonder.

"Welcome to the Round Of Games, Miss Raina Jones." A voice said from the light.

"Please who are you?" I asked in anguish. My body all dirty as my eyes were dry and my cheeks all white as a result of my dried up tears. I was still in my green tights and white underwear with no shoes on. I tried to take a look and see if I will find someone behind or inside the light. The voice was feminine, so definitely it was a woman.

"Who are you?" I asked again and the light shone brighter. My hands stood right in front of my face to prevent the bright light from blinding my eyes.

"I am the power source here. I am the very thing that comes on before any game should resume. I am Light. And I am your gaming guide." She presented herself.

"Excuse me Light but what am I doing here? And how did you know me?" I asked. With the doubts very visible on my lips as they trembled.

"You have your reasons to doubt." Woah!! Did she just read my mind or she just studied my facial expressions.

"I don't read human minds. You are a human and hence I can't access your brain." The light of a whatever it maybe said. I just looked at the light when it got dimmer. There was something about this light that I couldn't tell.

"Ok. Mrs Light or Miss Light or Light... Please can you now tell me what I am doing here? And why do I feel like I know you somewhere?" I looked intensely into the light and that was when it dawned on me that I definitely knew her. This light is the light that lit from my iPod and absorbed me into it.

"I know you. You are the one that brought me here." I said hoping she will deny to the fact or accept it.

"Yes! I brought you here." She agreed. But why on earth will she bring me here. Is it because I am addicted or what?

"I brought you here for a reason." She said as if she had been reading my mind which of course is a no because she said it herself that she can not read human minds.

"Wait let me guess. The world's in danger and even the game world." I said. Well from my knowledge on movies and stories, I have seen that the world is always in danger as a result of video games, aliens and many others, so I was hoping that it will be the same for my case. 

But I really am not into superhero stuffs and I am not ready to get into one. So I will just decline her offer and get to my boring room.

"Far from it. You are here to unravel mysteries." Light said, confusing me the more.

"I don't get it. What do you mean by 'here to unravel mysteries'?" I asked Light..

"There are things you need to know especially about your dad's death." She said and I sighed.

"I know that already. He was murdered and definitely by Mr McBerth. So what is the deal?" I asked her. I'm not mom who will spend her time unravelling mysteries about her husband's death. I know my dad is dead but I careless.

"Listen Raina Jones. You have the choice to go back and not know the mysteries behind your dad's death, behind your mom's sudden change of behaviour, then you have to follow my instructions.

Well I could sit back here and unravel mysteries instead of going back to that house where those cursed people are. I am in no mood of going to meet with that monster face of Ivory. So I think I would abide by her options. I will stay back here for as long as I want before heading back to that trap.

"So are you ready to play the Round Of Games?" Light asked and I smiled as her voice and tone had changed. She sounded somehow masculine and made it so dramatic, even though she is just a spot, a little cloud of light.

"Yes. I am ready. So what is to be done?" I asked and her Light became brighter that it burned my eyes and I groaned in pain.

"I'm sorry. I shine very bright when I am excited." She said apologetically and I smiled a little. It's been months since I had a genuine smile in an environment of peace.

"There are Four games in this Round Of Games but before the fourth and after the third, there is a bonus game. This Round Of Games involves various games but they are all running games. At the end of every game, one thing is going to come.... that is a mystery will be revealed to you. You have Three mysteries to be revealed to you." Light said but I thought there were four levels. I had to ask her.

"But I thought you said there are four levels, so why only three mysteries?" I asked and she lit up a little. Meaning it was a smile.

"The last mystery won't be revealed at the end of the game. It will be revealed in the game. Now the three mysteries to be revealed to you will come in form of a mystery box with a key. You will open it and the mystery will be revealed." Light said. But what was so important about these mysteries? I didn't seem to get the point.

"What is the importance of these mysteries?" I asked Light.

"The mysteries you discover will help you defeat the enemy. It will help you save lives. The world runs a great danger. You will find out in the course of your game trip." She said. Now I am more than convinced that this Round Of Games is a superhero stuff.

"I thought I said I wasn't ready to go superhero?" I rhetorically told Light who laughed.

"What is so funny?" I asked also amused by her laughs.

"It is not what you think. But you will understand when the time comes." And with that, Light disappeared and all became dark again. I looked around and wondered where she could be.

"Light! Light!" I called out with my resounding echoes as my usual response.

"Where are you?" I asked receiving my resounding echoes back as my usual response.

"One more thing Raina Jones." Light said and appeared right.in front of me with her light so bright before it dimmed low. I stumbled and fell to the floor on my butt.

"You have to win every game as the best. You have to take first place, if not you are stuck here forever. In every game here, you have three chances to come out in first place. Those chances are for you not to make a mistake as of the first time. You have only three chances so never forget. Remember that you are in the game, so you won't be able to see the obstacles ahead as you could do when you were not here." She warned and it was very authoritative.

But what happens if I lost all the three rounds. Now that I have become the game player itself and I can't see ahead. What if I lost all the three rounds? What will happen? Will I be stuck here forever?

"You will get stuck here forever if you lost all your three chances. You have to be very careful and be wary of your opponents, they are like a wolf in sheep clothing. Words from the Holy Book. I will appear to you at the beginning and end of every game you play here. Shalom!!!!" Light disappeared after saying those truths to me. 

The only thing in my heart right now was the fact that I could get stuck here..... forever. It didn't dawn on me the gravity of what I had gotten myself into, not until now. How on earth did I get myself here. Was it my wish? Yes it definitely was my wish. I just need to wish myself out of this game.

"I wish to return to my normal, boring life and not be a part of this video game." I wished in closed eyes and slowly opened my eyes. The tornado that had brought me inside this game was still here... it was taking me out of the game. I smiled to myself. 

Finally I was going to be out. But I didn't expect it to be this simple. I landed on something as soon as the tornado took me out of this dark shell. It must be my bedroom. I opened my eyes to find myself in a .... park.... an amusement park.
