Sector 1: Prelude

734 Words
A world filled with fear and hatred and deceit. Robbed of its life force and plagued with constant epidemics. Its surface reeked of depression and stink of death and destruction. Crystal red sky's overlay the heavens above the grounds. The sounds of people, creatures, and entities running in fear and constant panic. The feeling of disgust fills you as you walk upon the streets of this horrid world. Nothing will seem wrong, yet all is right. We know this well. For we see this despair and what awaits the residents of this planet. They will not survive this. They will not escape. For we who are not of this world or of this dimension. This dimension of negativity a universe inverted of our own. The positivity of light on earth was prominent for home, yet it felt like only a dream. As we the harbingers of pestilence continue to bring about this world fall. But why must we do this? Why must we be so destructive in our assault? Were not our gifts in the field of medicines and antibiotical research meant to heal and help others? Hailed as heroes on our homeworld for being able to cure almost anything. Then why, I ask you. Why must we suffer to bring so much death? Was it for our master, for justice, for peace, for retribution, repentance, or justification? We are unable to see the reason any longer. This dark planet's surface was grim, and yet from space, it appeared a vibrant crimson and green colour. Anyone would think this a wonderful place with a lot of vegetation because of the purple colour. That this world is a suitable place to habitate. However, that is not so, for the red skies are a remnant of this dimension. That is to say, it was expected here. On the surface of this mysterious world are clockwork-like cities that, from a glance, appeared partially destroyed. The smoke from these industrial cities fills the skies. Aside from these cities, there are vast lands of forestry. Forestry that consisted of red willow pines. Trees that looked like they were forever a flame still appear to resemble pine trees from earth. Then there are the oceans and other water bodies. These water bodies appear green in colour. Here in this negative dimension, the chemical makeup of such things is inverted. It was all strange to us initially, as we five were not from this dimension or world. We hailed from someplace else, yet we couldn't wholly recall whereby this point. We don't even remember who we were there, but we do place our names and skills. For this information was lost to us. He erased our memories of such events leaving us only our names and abilities. His name was Celes-Stroby leader of the Anti-Strobies. He was the one who found us after we apparently crashed here in an area called the Forbidden Sky. It's a crater area out in the reeves of a snowy mountain range. These mountains stand at an elevation of 45000 feet with a series of deep valleys running between them. The area above these valleys that is cloaked in thick clouds is called The Forbidden Sky. This apparently is because nothing that crosses into this area or flies near here is ever seen again. It's either blown up or struck down by some unknown entity. Another area is like this called Forbidden Island out in the middle of the Marble Opal Sea. We know not who named them this or why, but we were warned to never return to the Forbidden Sky nor to journey anywhere near the Forbidden Island. The five of us were given charge of our own team of Anti-Strobies to help us research a possible plague or virus—one to destroy the corrupted and defend our mobile base from oncoming threats. We of the Paramecia hold these truths that all must be purged and therefore cleansed of its impurities. Returning these creatures to their former states is no longer possible. The corrupted have joined under some unknown force and are starting to form armies. Now they are assaulting the remaining populous and destroying everything in their wake. To our knowledge, there are six kinds of corrupted and five generals to whom they obey. They must be destroyed at all cost by command of Overlord Draizer Warkiller, ruler of the Negative Dimension.
