Chapter 2.

"Will they be returning?" When I found out that the three Alphas of the pack, who had always made my life an absolute nightmare, were returning, I was terrified. I forced myself to breathe more slowly, letting out a sharp breath and squeezing my eyelids. My mind suddenly raced with all the memories of the three Alphas that I had to suppress for three years. "It is unbelievable that I am getting into this problem again!" I nibbled the corner of my lower lip uncomfortably and whispered under my breath. My current pack, to whom I belonged, took me in years ago with its Alpha and Rosslyn. However, from what I would heard, my parents were slaughtered by some outlaws, and they withheld the Pack's identity from me. I was thrilled to have a place to live and family when they took me in when I was six years old. However, my expectations were short-lived as they assigned me a lot of labour on the first day they took me inside the house. They informed me I was an Omega and that the only thing I could do for them was work as a slave, which is why they had taken me in the first place, shattering my dreams.l To make matters worse, I was often the target of bullying at home and at school from their lone child, Pete. Two of his buddies, Zane and Tyler, assisted him in making fun of me. They were the young alphas of the three strongest packs. When people first saw them, they assumed they were pleasant and possibly the sweetest people in the world, but in reality, they were the total opposite. They were all very attractive and handsome, and their eyes shone like canary diamonds. They were even worse than the devil, so I do not think it was right to kill all those devils. Beacon Hall was constructed solely to unite the three powerful but rival Packs. The three strongest packs in Rocket City came together and established a legislation requiring its members to attend the same school in order to put an end to their rivalry. Nobody was exempt from this rule! Pete, Zane, and Tyler arrived when school started. Despite treating others like they were useless, they were revered as gods in the school and were constantly treated with such respect. Boys aspired to be in their group, and ladies flocked to them like bees despite their haughtiness. In school, they were the most well-liked children. For their own pleasure, they would constantly make fun of me and pick on me. They used to play songs from heavy metal and force me to dance. One of their women would always strike me and make me dance if I didn't. I detested them all and did not like any of them at all. Everyone avoided me like I had an illness because I was the weird person who sat by myself in the school cafeteria. They used to pick on me, throw things at me, and even dump their leftovers on me if they were not staying away from me. With smug looks on their faces, Pete, Zane, and Tyler would observe everything that transpired. Given that they were the ones who made it possible for it to occur, what more could I have expected from them? They saw me as nothing more than a plaything, and all I wanted was to leave this city and go somewhere else to begin a new life. However, my nightmare came to an end when something happened that startled everyone. A battle broke out between Zane, an art enthusiast, and Pete, a fan of The Great Gatsby, getting so nasty that both had to go to the hospital. After Zane spotted Charlotte in Pete's ear and they both got into a car accident, he had accused Pete of killing his ex. Pete was unharmed in the horrific car accident, but Charlotte died. Zane was upset with Pete because he believed that Pete was attempting to take Charlotte away from him. Pete staged an accident and claimed Charlotte perished in the horrific vehicle disaster when Charlotte refused to comply. He said that Pete could not have avoided the collision because he was seated in the driver's seat. There was more likelihood of survival for the person in the passenger seat. The three strongest Packs got into a lot of arguments over the claims. Zane even held Tyler responsible for Pete's breakup with his long-term partner and the one woman he had ever loved. Everyone left Beacon Hill and went their separate ways after that. Tyler, Zane, and Pete were all sent to attend schools abroad. I knew it would be the beginning of the nightmare I have been trying to escape, so the idea of them returning was now too much for me. All I wanted was for the meeting to go badly wrong so the boys could return to their previous location because I detested them all so much. I sincerely hope they never found out who I was. Someone hurled a cup at me shortly after I entered the house. My heart nearly leaped out of my chest as my knees gradually gave up. But I knew that if I fell, I would give her an opportunity to jump on me. How are you doing, you w***e's son? I have had you on my mind." The Rosslyn shouted as loudly as she could, refusing to take her hands off the expertly played piano. She only treated just one item with such fervour. I slowed down to pick up the pieces after swallowing the thiekening lump in my throat. I knew better than anyone that if I did not respond to her, it would only cause me more problems, as I swallowed my pride. "I was in school doing my schoolwork. I could not go until I finished my homework, according to the teacher." I faltered.M Suddenly, she stopped playing the piano and turned to face me. Fear was causing my heart to beat quickly. Her eyes were cold as she studied me. What a filthy lie you are! You did not even attend school today. You lied to me, so you said you would not eat anything this afternoon until you finished practically all of your assignments. I am in a good mood and I am letting you off easy, so you should be delighted about that." I threw what was in my hands into the closest garbage can and she yelled at me. "I appreciate your kindness towards me." I lowered my head to her and said something beneath my breath. She gave me another look after rolling her eyes to the back. "Tonight, my son Pete and those jerks who forced him to leave in the first place would be returning."When she mentioned Zane and Tyler by name, I knew she was calling them losers. She believed she was superior to everyone, despite the fact that they were all essentially the same.
