Ch- 14 The Talk

Kiara's pov

Atharv called me and told me that Coach Khurana was going to drop us to home. I hurried and both of us went to his car. Atharv was looking forward to tell him the directions to our home but surprisingly he already knew it. I wonder how!? But I was too tired to ask him this stupid question.

After reaching home, dad sent us to our rooms and asked us to have some rest. After that he'll help us with some of our assignments and then we can have dinner. Wait What? He'll help us! But what's the need? Where's Mr Khanna? God knows where he is! I literally just wish that he is gone from my life. Not because he is not a good person, coz he is. But I don't really like him. He was all day on my ass and just asked me to study. He seriously never thought about anything else than tests, viva, study and assignments. I was just bored of my life with him. I then directly went to bed and looked ahead for a peaceful sleep. I don't know if I will be able to survive under Coach Nick with this much of screwing daily. God knows what will happen to me!

Shlok's pov

Ath and Kia came along with Sid and I sent the children to their rooms to get some rest. Both of them were looking drained and completely out of energy. Kiara was looking tired even to move to her room. I asked Sid to have a seat and told Bella to bring some snacks.

"What happened Mr Agnihotri? Why did you ask me to come here today?" He asked.

"Waoohh Sid. Now I'm Mr Agnihotri for you rather than Shlok? I see, it seems like we are no longer friends, huh?"

"Umm.. I'm sorry S..Shlok."

"Waoohh. Now you are even forgetting the rules of our friendship! Huh? 'No sorry. No Thankyou!'"

"Ugh. Okay na. I don't know why but I just have a formal feeling while I'm around you. Anyways, tell me why did you call me here?"

"Waoohh. Now I have to have a proper reason to call my best friend at my home."

"Don't joke Shlok. You know I'm not in a mood of it. I can read your face and sense that you have some problem. Now spit it out before I have to force it out from your stomach."

"OH! So how will you bring it out from my stomach? Huh?"

As soon as these words left my mouth, Sid started tickling me to no end and I was laughing my ass off and just yelling "Sid. STOP please. S..Siddd. HAhAhhaA. Sidd.. No. No more HahAAHA of you this tickle torture."

"Ok then. I'll stop. Just tell me what the matter is?"

"Yeah. Yeah. I'll tell. First stop it." I was still laughing and remembering my childhood days when Sid used to tickle me to get something out of my mouth. But to my surprise, Atharv suddenly came to my room and saw both of us in our childish behaviour mode. Sid didn't see him as he had his back towards him.

"Wowww. I didn't know that you are such a naughty boy Coach. HAHAHA. I got to see a completely different side of you today!" Atharv said as he entered the room.

To my surprise, Sid became serious as he saw him and quietly sat on the bed as he saw Atharv.

"What happened Atharv? Why did you come here when I told you to stay in your room?" I asked coming back to my strict and no emotion mode.

"Umm.. Dad I wanted to go out today with my friends. So I came here to ask for your permission."

"Where?"

"Dad we're planning to go to cinema hall. There's a new movie. Please dad let me go. Please please please."

"What time will you be back at?"

"Dad by 2030 hours, I'll be home. And dad we will have our dinner there afterwards."

As I was about to say yes, Sid interrupted-

"No need. You don't have to have your dinner there. You can't eat fast food or any fried thing. Whether your dad allows you to movie or not, its upto him, but you have to do dinner here only. Crystal?"

"Yes sir. Now dad may I go? My friends are probably waiting!"

"OK Fine. You can go. Stay safe. Ok?"

"Yes dad. Thank you so much. Love you."

"OK shlok. Now coming straight to the point, tell me why are you so worried? Why did you ask me to come here?"

"See Siddharth. Sojal (Shlok's wife) is out. She won't be coming here for next 12 years as per the new job contract she signed. And I too am very busy nowadays. I don't know how to handle the kids and the work together. I feel like I am under tons of pressure. Sometimes, the workload is so much that I can't give even a single minute of my day to my children. And sometimes, my anger (due to office reasons) comes out on the children. I feel like I'm unable to balance my personal and professional life."

"Yeah Shlok, I understand your situation. You have to show some strength now. I know, things are not easy now. But, I don't get how can I help you?"

"As the kids are too young now so I can't leave them all alone throughout the day. I know that in the morning and noon hours, they are safe with you. But some complications are going on in my company and I have to sort them out. So, in the coming month, I'll be out most of the times and if I will come home, then it will be around midnight."

"I had arranged a tutor for them too. But he went today due to some work and I got a call from him this afternoon that he'll have to quit this job due to some family reasons. I tried to arrange some other tutor for them, but nobody but one is willing to leave their family and stay here permanently for my kids. But when I warned him about the pranks that Atharv and Kiara play, he quitted. So, I wanna ask if you know any tutor whom I can hire!"

"Oh Shlok, it's not a problem dude. I do know one such person. His name is Paul Richard. He's one of my best friend. I'm sure he can take care of Atharv and Kiara very well!"

My face lit up as I heard him.

"Thank you so much Siddharth. Thanks a lot!. I can't tell you how grateful I am to you."

"Don't be silly Shlok. You don't need to thank me. Afterall, we are best friends forever."

"I'll text you his number. And I'll also talk to him about this personally."

"Yeah. But are you sure that he'll stay here for my kids?"

"Shlok don't worry. I told you na he will. Actually, he has no family. He lives in an apartment near the S-Block alone. I'm sure that he will be more than happy to be in company with Ath and Kiara!"

"Great. But as I told you that Ath and Kiara are very naughty. So, are you sure he will not quit?"

"Yes shlok. I am more than sure. He has a masters in psychology. He will understand the kids well. Ok? And furthermore, I don't think that after morning and noon session with me, they will have anymore of energy left to play stupid pranks!"

"Yeah yeah. That thing I am sure of. Or better say more than sure of. Hahaha. I saw it was just their first day, and you drained them completely out of energy! Keep it up."

"Haha, So I think that your problem is solved now. I should leave now. Bye."

"Umm Sid we met after such a long time, can't you stay here any longer?"

"Aww.. I would love to baby, but try to understand I have some work."

"Ok. Bye. And Thanks again."

I know this chapter was super boring. I too got bored as hell while writing this. But please bear it with me. I promise next chapter will be interesting and I hope that that can make up for this boring chapter.
