A week passed, and I could finally be discharged from the hospital. However, something nagged at me. Why didn’t Lucifer visit me at all? Or did he leave without saying goodbye? “Darling? Is there anything on your mind?” My mother asked gently. “Nothing… but could I ask…where was that male that danced with me that night?” “Oh darling… he left for his hometown, but he left a letter for you. Here it is.” My mother handed me the letter and she left. Dear Princess, Lucifer here. I know you will be wondering where I am. I went back to my hometown, which in fact is Hell. However, I will find you whenever I am free. I hope you will stay healthy. Don’t miss me and take care. Love, Lucifer Tear dripped down my cheeks. That male, the one that made my heart pound whenever I laid eyes on him. He left without saying a single goodbye. What a jerk. “So, cutie pie, why are you crying over this letter? You should be swooning over me…” I turned around and I saw a huge male, towering over me, with huge muscles. His arms grabbed me, and I squirmed in his hands. This was no ordinary man. “Now, don’t be such a wimp…” He growled. “Let go of me!” I shouted. “Lucifer. Help me please. I really need you. A desperate plea, through my mind to a male which I just met a week ago. I must be insane. Funny enough, he was the first person I thought of when I was in trouble. I laughed to myself. So, this will be what happens to the princess of the angel court. A foolish girl that asked for help to a male that will never appear. “Lucifer. Help please…” I whispered. “Crunch…” I saw a hand shoot across my head, and that male that gripped me staggered. “Get your filthy hands away from the Princess. Now, leave or I won’t be a gentleman.” I heard that voice that made my heart soar and blood rush to my face. “Princess?! Don’t joke around young man… she doesn’t even seem to be a princess… Do you know who I am?!” “I don’t care about your name at all. All I care, is that you molested this lady over here.” “Psh…Who are you?” The male spitted on the floor. “I don’t think my name will be of concern…But…” Lucifer’s leg went swinging onto the male’s face and the man crumpled onto the floor. Lucifer swept me into his arms and shadow jumped me into his home. “Lucifer! You came… How did you know I was in danger?” I asked, voice shaky. “Here, take this to drink. I heard your voice in my mind. I heard you shouting for help. I tried to zone in on where you were, and I found you. I sort of tracked you down here.” He replied and he handed me the drink. “That’s amazing… and thank you. Really, thank you for saving me.” I sipped the drink. “Hm! This is delicious…” “It’s named The Ballad. It’s a concoction of pomegranate and some lemon for acidity…” He smiled. “I’d glad you like it though.” I blushed. “Well… My body can’t handle another leap, so I guess I’ll have to stay here, in your…home.” Lucifer nodded. “I’ll prepare the room immediately.” After entering the handsomely designed room, I laid on the bed, and soon, I fell asleep.
