Reine’s POV
His jaw clenched again and he looked away from me. “ I’m afraid to tell you this Reine but I do not have an answer to that. And I can assure you that whatever happened from this morning till now were a bunch of slip ups and it will not happen again.”
As I heard his words, I felt a little tinge of heart in my heart and I did not like that feeling a bit. I do not know what answer I was expecting him to give me but this was certainly not yet. This hurt and I was not even aware as of why.
“is that all?” he asked as he got up after my lack of response to his ruthless words.
I looked to the floor and slightly nodded my head. I mean what was more to talk about?! Without wasting the second, Demetrius left his chambers leaving me alone to my thoughts.
I was upset And disappointed.
