Reine’s POV
The rest of the day went in me lounging around in my room, I swear I could feel that atmosphere in the castle has shifted. The maids looked even more stressed than usual and they were on their toes. I guess the revelation came as a major shocker to them.
Demetrious had left shortly after Demetrious had left shortly after our little conversation, leaving me alone to my thoughts. I had not been out of the room since then. To be honest I was scared to interact with the strangers in the castle, even hesitant to eat the food brought in by the maids but I had no choice. Every choice felt like I was gambling on my life.
