Chapter Seven CLAY As the final people leave, the house becomes quiet again. It’s nice, the quiet, the feeling of not having to rush and not so many people at your side constantly. I like a good party, but, in the end, there is nothing as amazing as spending time with my family, and my mate. We’ve cleaned most of the living room, anything that could spoil or break has been put away, we just need to move chairs and tables and stuff like that back to their normal place, which we will do tomorrow. Because I have one last surprise for Aiden, even if it’s maybe not that much of a surprise at all… We sit on the couch, looking around the room, looking at all the things we’ll still have to do, like take down the decorations, but I slide my hand into Aiden’s, squeezing it a little.
