Chapter Three
AIDEN
It’s only a few days until Christmas now, and I’m once again looking at the list of things we need to get and things we need to do. This time there are actual items on the list, for a change, Clay helped me out. Sure, a lot of the items on the list have already been crossed off, but it’s still a little overwhelming to see the whole list together.
“Aiden?” Clay comes over, sitting next to me on the couch.
“Hm?” I look up at him.
“Do you want to get to the store with me? I know that you’ve got a few special things you’re still looking into getting.” He eyes me, raising his eyebrows, it takes me a moment to realise he’s not being clear because there are others in this room, others who I’m still planning on buying presents for.
