Chapter Seven
AIDEN
I’m sore all over, I don’t think there is any part of me that doesn’t hurt… But it doesn’t stop me from keeping the twins as close as I can, holding them as much as I can and loving them.
I can’t help this feeling inside, this utter adoration, this love. This feeling that I can’t stop grinning, laughing, wanting to hold them close. I keep looking their way, needing to touch their tiny cheeks, or their itty bitty hands that keep moving. I love them so much.
The nurses have been encouraging me to start walking around, to start doing things again, even if just a little.
Luckily, Clay has been here most of the time, preventing me from going crazy, and this morning Stephen said that I’d be allowed to go home. Finally.
