Chapter Four
AIDEN
I’m surprised when Clay’s mum tells me that Wes wants me in the kitchen, but I go anyway.
I walk over to the kitchen, a little worried as I know what just went on here, and while Clay’s mum seemed fine, I know that Wes and Zeke were very nervous about meeting up with them.
I carefully open the door, finding everyone inside quiet.
“Wes?” I step inside and close the door behind me again, if they just asked me to come, they probably don’t want others to come in here too.
Wes is next to me immediately, his arms around me and holding me tightly.
I wrap my arms around him. “Wes? What’s going on?”
“Thank you. Thank you so much.” His words are barely audible, getting lost in the fabric of my shirt.
