“Leave us.” He ordered. I let out a sigh and walked to the kitchen, pouring myself a cup of water and gulping it down in one go. He walked across the island, his eyes for some reason finding mine. “You are flustered.” A sly smile etched at the edge of his lips. “Can you stop pulling my legs in front of everyone?” “I wasn’t pulling your legs, Ria. We do have to live like actual couples.” “You are cruel," I huffed. How can we live like couples, and it’s over in a month? I tried to walk past him, my heels killing me when a hand drew me. I fell into his arms. “We can’t have anyone reveal any weakness; there are eyes everywhere, and the walls have ears.” All I could see were his blue eyes and curls of his dark brown hair falling on the sides of his face. I itched to clear them.
