Sixteen MONDAY MORNING DAWNS uneventfully. Uneventfully, that is, in the sense that I am still a free man. I had briefly spoken to the Archbishop the night before and asked to meet with him. He proposed meeting at a retreat cabin set aside for his use at Our Lady of the Mount, since Emmitsburg is about halfway for the both of us. I told him I would leave after the Noon Mass and meet him in the early afternoon. After 8 a.m. Mass, I head back to the sacristy to take off my vestments.
