Thomas had to drug Amelia to make sure that she had no idea where they were headed. Someone from his inner circle alerted him about the police heading to his property. He thought it would take Jake at least a week to locate them. He underestimated him. He carefully tucked Amelia in her seat belt and drove away from his cabin. He did not want to burn the place down, it was one of his most favorite properties. However, burning it down would give them more time to escape. He was headed for the bunker that he recently installed in his property near the beach. Jake would have a hard time locating them there. He’ll be able to arrange a chopper from there to leave the country.
