Amelia held her breath as she carefully peaked below the tree branch she had tied herself to. She was pretty sure that Thomas was just below her.
Thomas used a flashlight while trying to track Amelia in the woods. She managed to grab his go-bag, which give her a sort of advantage in the woods. There were very few predators in the area but the dark is starting to make it hard for Thomas to find Amelia. He found her tracks near the river earlier. She might have gathered water earlier.
There’s a cave near this area. He’s taking his chances to find Amelia there. But if he doesn’t, he’ll be calling it a night and will start looking again tomorrow.
