Amelia stayed inside her room, as instructed. Food was delivered to her every two hours.
He knew that Daniel and the butler wouldn’t be around during lunchtime. She was pacing back and forth in her room when one of the guards knocked and entered the room. He simply placed her food tray on her table and left.
Two hours after lunch and she was pacing back and forth again. She was looking forward to seeing Daniel. She wondered if he managed to call Jake.
Around 3 pm, someone knocked on the door. She prayed it was Daniel.
“Miss, this is Daniel.” She heard him whisper at the door.
Amelia hurriedly opened the door for him. He was carrying a tray of pizza. She immediately smelled the cheese on top.
She didn’t want to start the conversation, she was so tensed.
“I saw them,” Daniel whispere
