*STEEVE'S POV
"What's up bro? You good? " asked Michael and Jason as they approach me with a man hug.
"Fine, same old same old " I replied shrugging my shoulder before I drop my sports bad and towel on the bench and run towards the court where my teammates are stretching up.
We are all on heat... our team is separated into two groups, one lead by me and another lead by Jason, there is only one minute left with my team leading with three points. Thor, one of my member pass through Leon, who's on opposing team, while dribbling the ball. After passing through Leon, Thor passed the ball to me which I catch, I was about to shoot the ball... When an ear-piercing voice called out my name. It was Jess, Michael's girlfriend. Jess is a brunette girl who is 5'4'' feet tall with chubby feature which certainly looks good on her. She has an ash brown eyes and high cheek bones.
Everyone stop because of her voice, which angers the coach. "What the heck is going on, Jess?! What is all this shouting all about? " coach shouted. He actually looks mad and so is my annoyed teammates which is very understandable seeing how good the game is.
Michael run toward his girlfriend and asked what she needed. Jess looked straight to me before taking a deep breath and said "Jhozelyn, your fiancee is in the clinic... She was injured during P.E. We are having a track and field event and she was competing with Giezel and I saw with my own eyes... Steeve! That slut tripped her... And she got a major ankle sprain" she said and finished too fast she almost got out of breath.
What she stated somewhat ring a bell to my ears, I instantly felt my blood boiling... My hand is turned into fist and I immediately came running to clinic with one thing came to my mind... Giezel you will pay for this..
As I entered the clinic, I saw Jhozy being attended by the school doctor. Jhozy looks calm but flinches every once in a while whenever Dr. Minerva is adding a bit of pressure when wrapping a bandage to her sprained ankle. I take a deep breath, calming my nerves before I strive my way to her.
"How do you feel?" I asked when I get to her while looking at her injured foot. The doctor finished treating her and left us alone at the room. I sat beside her bed and put her foot at my lap examining it.
"What happened?" I ask her. She only looked at her lap and playing with her fingers nervously. Seeing as she has no intention to answer, I lift her head by holding her chin and ask her again.
She finally look at me and answered "its nothing, it was just a simple accident. You should not have come here you still have your practice, your coach might get mad at you" she said calmly.
"Don't mind the practice it was already ruined anyway because of how loud Jess is. And don't make an incident excuse I know what happened and I'll surely make her pay for that" I told her starting to feel mad again about what happened.
"You don't need to.. I... "She was cut off when the clinic's door burst open showing Brandon and Ethan.
"You surely don't need to... We already handled it. " Ethan said. Wow they sure is a fast worker.
Ethan came to hug her with her foot still on my lap. However, when it was Brandon's turn, not even half a minute I speak. "She is still hurt give hugs later" I spoke a bit mad at the way he was hugging her. "Dude, her feet hurts not her body" he told me while smirking but back off nonetheless.
"Alright we'll leave her to you, bring her home we already talked to the doctor when she came out. Zel is allowed to go home. "Bye zelly" both of them said to her before leaving.
"Come on, I'll take you home. Can you walk? " I asked but before she can even took a step, she stumbled and almost fell, luckily I was able to catch her.
"No I don't think I can.. Oh.. You... You don't need to.. " she gasp as I put my arm under her legs and under her back to carry her in a bridal way.
"Yes I need to Jhozy. You can't even walk, so be a good girl and put your arms around my neck honey" I told her teasingly. However as I said the word "honey" I saw fear and sadness on her eyes it was almost like she face out.
"Jhozy you fine?" I asked shaking her a bit while carrying her. She shake her head a little before looking at me and hiding her face at the crook of my neck. "Yeah is am fine, just... Could you hurry to the car? Everyone is looking at us , it's uncomfortable" she told me. wow she looks cute this way... I looked around and yes everyone does look at us. Geez nosy teenagers.

"What happened darling? " my mom exclaimed as I entered the house carrying Jhozy. My mother panic-kingly rush from the kitchen towards us when she saw us about to go upstairs.
"It's nothing serious auntie... Just sprained my ankle during P.E ." Jhozy answered.
"I'll carry her to her bedroom mom" I told my mom. "Yeah you do that. Take care kids I'll just buy some grocery, we are running out of it" she told us motioning the kitchen with her thumb as she grab her bag and leave.
I carried Jhozy until her bedroom. After I set her at the bed, I sat beside her and touch her foot softly. "Does it still hurt?"
"No, I am already good thank you for the help. " she told me smiling.
"Anything for you. You know if the boys did not punish Giezel, I would have. " I told her sincerely.
"I know you will. But you don't need to... Two boys of mine is already too much to handle when they are making troubles while protecting me." She told me which makes me kind of sad.
"How bout' me? I can do that... I am your fiance, I should be the one protecting you.. " I spoke sadly but butterflies seems to make knots on my abdomen as I saw a redness instantly flush on her cheeks.
"Then you could just be the one who will be by my side while the others are protecting me.. Won't it be better?" She told me shyly.. In fact, she seems to have realize what she said because she instantly turn her head on the side and tries to hide her face.
"It would... It would be better. " I told her smiling brightly.
And for that moment I kind of forgot that I have a girlfriend. That moment it was just me and Jhozy. Me and my Fiancee.
