Basketball bet

Today is Saturday, I have already finished my homework and I am no in the mood to read books as of the moment. Which leaves me into boredom.

"hey tan-tan" I greeted him very sweetly which I rarely used.

"hey zelly what do you need?" he said still munching on his burger while sitting on the counter top with me facing him.

"What do I need? Come on tan-tan can't I just greet my lovely brother?" I answered faking that I got offended by his words and yes we consider each other as siblings.

"First of all zelly don't call me that awful nickname you know how much I hate it and YOU only use your sweet cheery voice when you need something so spill it." he said commanding.

"okay okay geez your so short-tempered. I am just so bored and wondering if you could call Donny so the three of us could go to mall and watch cinema? Pretty pretty please huh?." I ask him with my most adorable puppy look which he and Donny can't resist. 

For a second I thought that he would refuse me cause he just keep on looking at me like reading what's on my mind. And it makes me nervous till he sigh and said "go grab your things and change your clothes, fast before I change my mind." and then he turn his back on me, putting his food down and grab his phone, probably calling Donny. Gosh! I really love him. I thought smiling while making my way upstairs.

Not an half ago Donny already came and we hop on Ethan's car with me at the back. geez these men they really can give me anything but the passenger seat.

"So how is my favorite girl, dreaming of dating Steve huh?" he ask looking to me from the front with teasing eyes.

"yuh zelly do I need to talk to him now?" Ethan asked focusing in the road being serious. This man is always serious he should really need to learn from Donny, but not all of it handling Donny is already too much.

"For the hundred time guys it’s just a little crush and he doesn't like me alright? gosh I hate him being all cocky and judging so stop teasing me alright?!" I complained very frustrated. I mean since the event with Svan in the library they have been teasing me like that! Oh and about what happened that day after the boys came ugh he's so annoying its his fault why they keep on teasing me.

"hey guys is there any problem here?" ask Ethan while putting his arm on my shoulder and intensely looking at Steve together with Donny. Oh boy, here are they go again, acting all overprotective brothers to me.

"Oh hey bro" Svan greeted them with those bro shake hands and hugs.

"Hey so what's happening here?" Donny asked now looking at me.

"Oh its nothing we were just..." I wasn't a able to finished my sentence because this so awesome guy here cut me off. "Oh you know just talking to this beautiful friend of yours here, just caught my attention and I want to ask for her name but still wasn't able to get it." he said sending me a smirk and wink. He said those totally trying to annoy me which is kinda working cause I know they will tease me with this.

"First of all that is not what happened and my name is Jhozelyn so stop lying." I told them but mostly to Svan, not wanting Ethan and Donny to misunderstood the situation.

"Oh don't be in denial sweety. I'll say my goodbye now guys still have a class to attend too." He said waving goodbye while walking towards the door not until he stop and look at me and said "don't miss me too much Jhozy".

"ughhh that guy is really getting on my nerve." I said unconsciously. I know he is just teasing me and being playful because...I don't know i just seem to know it.

“Oh just a little crush huh, that's why you GAVE him a nickname which you only do when they are your close friend or something and don't give me that stupid explanation that about as being friends with him." he said looking at me with meaning and I already know what it means don't try to deny it or keep secret from us or else...

"Alright I like him but only a little okay just little alright." I said giving in. I like him but he can be annoying and I am not ready for all this romance thing and I'll probably never will.

The moment I blurted it out, Ethan just snicker while Donny laugh out load and loudly tap the dash board before saying "New it!"

"That movie is so hilarious!" Donny proclaimed still laughing about the movie we just finished watching.

"yeah it is I mean how stupid can she be to trip on a cake" Ethan said still fazed by the movie. I admit the movie is great but not great enough to make me remember its title. The movie is all about hilarious things and no knowledge.

"Yup! it's great seeing as you are almost dropping in the floor from laughing and you a very serious man is having fun " I mockingly stated to them by looking at Donny before Ethan. Which kind of a mistake cause they glare at me, but I am not scared these two guys love me so much they can't even hurt me in any possible way.

"Come on guys let's go to the arcade!" with that I hurriedly pull them inside the arcade but we separate directions after a minute seeing as we have different interest to do. Both of them are going to play a pool while me, will go play a basketball. I love that game.

After exchanging tokens in the cashier I immediately gone to the basketball machine or whatever its called, I don't really care.

I was about to play when a voice distracted me.

"Oh looks who it is. Do you love me that much that you even started on stalking me?" asked the voice. Which happens to belong to the one and only Svan whom I have a bit on crush on but it doesn't change the fact that he annoys me.

"Hey Svan and guys" I greeted him but I saw his friends, Jason and Michael. They are both on his basketball team. Both of them are bulky but Jason is the flirty guy and Michael is the gentleman type . They both just greeted me with 'hi' and tap Svan's shoulder then leave, maybe to play on their own.

"You really are arrogant, are you?” I stated with a raised eyebrow before continuing

“I came here to play, maybe your the one who's stalking me since I got here first." I say looking at him in the eye, which kind of hard for me to be honest,with my hands on my hips trying to be intimidating which doesn't seem to affect him.

"So you telling me that you just came to play basketball? Your a girl I doubt you could even shoot a ball." He said trapping me with his arms in the basketball machine. Our face are so close, if anyone move between us we would end up in a kiss. Seriously this guy likes to torture me.

I averted my gaze so he our face won't be too close and said. "For your information Mr. Basketball Captain,I am pretty sure I could even beat you in this game."

I finally look him in the eye to add an affect that I am really challenging him and smirk. But those smirk gone when he came closes to me and said "oh really".

"yes really" I replied. And it was the truth cause I am great in basketball, the Boys thought me well and I always play this game whenever we are in mall.

He stand up straight and go to the machine beside me before looking back at me and saying "how about this, you win you get a wish, I win and you will stop calling me that awful name and get rid of that feelings for me okay? I already love someone." he said jokingly but you'll see that he is serious.

"Shoot, its not that hard anyway cause your not so close to me. BUT, I win I'll call you Svan and you'll stop annoying me with those jokes its irritating." I said knowing that I'll win. I saw them Practice before and I know he is magnificent inn court. I may not be able to win against him in an actual game but I knew for a fact that I can beat him in arcade. I have tons of practice after all.

"Whatever you say Jhozy" he said before we starts.

We both entered our token and push the start button at the same time. as the ball rolls into my reach I instantly grab it and shoot feeling the adrenaline rush through my veins. We are both shooting with the best speed and accuracy as we can.

At first he is leading but when I got the hang of it our score became close and after a minute... boom! I win by 5 points.

"Hahahaha oh my gosh! I really did it." I proclaimed jumping around like I am a child. Been a long time since I act and feel this happy, I miss it. I even did a victory dance in front of him.

"Oh my gosh! this is so embarrassing" I hide my face with my hand when I saw that he is staring at me, almost trying to stop himself from laughing.

"I am glad I amuse you, Svan" I said to him straightening myself.

"Oh you really do, don't worry Jhozy I'll abide by my promise. You can call me anything you want but I won't be able to help it if i am just so irresistible" He finished before pecking my cheek, messing my hair and then leaving after saying Till' next time Sweet Jhozy"

I just freeze in there, where I stood. "What? What just happened?" i blurted.

"That guy! I think he is trying to give me a heart attack."
