I woke up on a bench two blocks away from the clinic. I stood on my feet before my brain could completely wake up. Beau would take her home soon, and I couldn't let that happen.
Murin and his men should have killed me. It would have made things easier for them. I had already let her down and tore her world to shreds. I wasn't about to let Murin ruin her.
I sure as h*ll would not let Beau lay another hand on her. My game plan was to get to Reign first. I returned to the clinic only to be barred out by the guards.
