Rick felt his heart beat rapidly in fear and guilt as he walked into Clare's hospital room. The room was like any typical one, a double ward but the other bed was empty. The air smelt of antiseptics and that general revolting smell of drugs. As soon as his foot came in contact with the floor, everyone in the room turned to him. Phew! That was a lot of angry stares. Everyone seemed to be here. His uncle, aunt, Lilith, Hunter, Neil and even his other female friend.
