"Look, I live a few blocks from here, why you don't come with me, so you can charge your phone and call your friend. My car is parked down the curb." I look up at him, weighing in my options. Why is he being so nice? I take in the way his hair is falling to the front and sticking to his forehead, courtesy of the rain. His green eyes looking directly at me. A thunder gets me off my thoughts, making me flinch. "Come on," Nathaniel says, directing me towards his car. Before thinking how much this crosses the professor-student relationship, I accept his offer.  "Thanks." I follow him in a hasty pace and it's just a matter of seconds before we reach his car and I'm safe in the passenger seat.
