"Don't act like that."

"Like an adult you mean?" It's unbelievable to me how blind he is to the wrongness of the situation. This is far from how I expected this conversation to go.

"Like if this electricity wavering between us doesn't exist." He states, a soft v forming between his eyebrows. "Like if it was a mistake."

"But it was, it was a  mistake!" I say exasperated, realizing we both have different expectations to come out of the situation. "You know, I'm not going to stay here listening to you convincing me of something that is not." I declare standing up and walking towards the door.

"Alex, come on." I let out an ironic laugh, recalling the same words Will say to me that other time. "I just want to talk." And despite my previous intentions to let it be clear just how much I'm pissed off, my unschooled face betrays me and I can't help but look at his lips, those very lips that I so desperately want to feel against mine again.
